Boy it has not been a good week for Chevy trucks I lost a wheel bearing coming home from work the other night in my 04 Avalanche almost losing the wheel & crashing the truck no warnings or noises just one loud crunch & I was holding on for the ride. While truck was in the shop My father gave me his 04 Silverado to use well last night on the way home it blew a head gasket with only 65,000 miles but like BigPaul this Silverado spent most of it's life plowing NH winters & has cancer pretty bad. Lots of parts replaced due to rot but it has never left him stranded either & made it home chucking a large white plume of smoke so he goes in next week they are going to put a stint in the Silverado's heart & hopefully not have to suggest a heart transplant because he will just have to pull the plug

I can't find the E-Mail but I was told by DEC a couple years ago the only rage illegal in NY were the 3 blades also on the list were the G5 Havocs which I had bought a few days before still have them never used them. I found the locking mechanism to be a pita

best start I have had for a while but need the temps to drop still near 80 here I have seen about 40 deer in 3 days of hunting that is a huge amount for NH

60 yards max I practice out to 80 but when ready for hunting my max pin is set for 60 yards most deer I have taken have been less than 30 yards longest was 53 yards
-
Some pics I took since NH season started on the 15th no shots on any good ones & passed up on 5 small ones

Come up to NH you can shoot everything I have I agree with the .308 it has a light recoil, very common ammo to find & is a good caliber for an array of game

Yes we usually serve it at our yearly Christmas party slice thin tastes like roast beef but better I use a mild rub so it doesn't take away from the taste of the meat
-
haven't done a front shoulder but I do smoke a rump roast on every deer I get. I just use dry rubs

I thought so I looked it up & still booked for around $4,000 it does need a new seat the locking posts are broke off but replaced with bolts i used epoxy to hold to the seat & seems to be holding for now (seat would not stay latched) & I need to look at the Diff lock as it does not engage but I have not even found where I needed it yet
-
Yes it can. he will be diong my SR1911 soon

Ants the brute force will wheely now that I took the stock tires off it. All it wanted to do is burn the rears off but just doesn't feel right. not like my sport wheelers did. you could wheely them all day long. These big cc engine machines are killer work horses though I know I will get ragged on but I am actually looking forward to plowing snow this year
