Wife and I are co registered and we paid for my oldest sons permit so we can add our pistols on his. It’s easier here in Steuben county to get your permit then others and Steuben only issues concealed carry.

You kinda crack me up, you say your all for background checks then complain about it . The time and price it takes to get the permit stops lots of people from getting them and that’s kinda what they want. Wait till the US government starts taxing all firearms , ammo etc .

I can’t speak for everyone, but I would not. I’ve handled cross bows and to me they are very awkward not a fan.

This biggest thing that jumped out at me in the article is the mpg’s . I have a 60 mile (round trip ) drive to work, all highway in my 14 f150 5.0 with the 6 speed , I run the cruise all the time at 76-78 I average 17.8 mpg’s . So if one can stay out of boost they may see better milage , but 1 mpg better, not significant enough to me .

Just a tip, I found when I was trying to line the wraps up on my mouse pad a x-acto knife or any blade tip helps tremendously in moving / lining the warps up straight with out it sticking to a finger.

Idk about the trails, but wife and I have been to the lake and it’s a beautiful area. FYY , I just googled like George atv trails and a few came up .

Looking at this scope for my M/L , if you have one what’s the good / bad on it . Reviews are pretty good for the price but wanted some real world reviews.

You can try the high rings, mount them up with the scope and see how the scope to eye alignment is when you shoulder the gun.

So I assume the scope is a vx1 1-4 by 20 ? You should be fine with low mount rings .

What are you using for the mount ? B square saddle mount or ?

Depending on the scope size you may need medium rings. What’s the objective bell on it ? As for expansion I’ve had zero problems with my leupold on my super redhawk with stainless steel rings.

I like guys posting the official score of their bucks, it helps me when I’m looking at racks , photos or in the field. Myself I don’t care if the person enters his in a book, to each his own. I have 2 that were scored by the nybbc that made it, but I never registered them . I did keep the scoring page’s though. It’s a great buck no matter what the inches , but it is nice to put a number with the rack just for a FYI if nothing else.
