Well unfortunately, now you know how to handle things with the adjacent owner. Not going to call him a neighbor because a neighbor wouldn’t have done that.

Think about all the deer in urban neighborhoods, they are used to humans pets etc ..

It’s funny you said that, we are thinking to either paint or replace our entrance door. I’ve been searching how to’s on painting a metal door to look like wood.

Finished it up today, my wife chemical striped the oak and I sanded them to clean them up. She stained it all , door, window trim , jamb extensions , door trim , base boards etc. I made the trim around the base of the stairs, I cut 1/2 by 1/2 inch oak strips and ran the router on the tops. The base board is old door trim that the edges were beat to hell . So I cut about 5/8 off the bad side and ran the router on them to finish the tops . Only thing we have left is painting the entrance door jamb extensions. Well wait and do that over the summer as we have to take off the door and hinges to paint . Super happy how it turned out . I bought the Bohning full length wraps for my arrows from amazon some time ago. They sell the shorter wraps for the blazer vanes that I use , but I wanted lots of white on the shafts.

Congrats he’s a slammer of a buck, and great story. Love the girls smiles, couple little cutie’s you have there.

I would say your on to something , Probably half the deer I’ve killed over the years have been late / mid morning. When I hunted my cousins camp I would always stay in the woods till late lunch and every one around me would start moving and push deer. I really like mid morning hunts when the temp drops down to around that zero or below mark. The deer will get up and move after bedding in the early morning.
