Funny little story . Back 25 years ago when I first started in archery and didn’t know any better. I went out with my 77 lb 31.5 draw compound to stump shoot ,it’s great practice they said. Well after that first obliterated arrow/ judo point , I was done stump shooting .

Funny thing when we mess up on big bucks , 15 or so years later we remember it like it was yesterday. I have 3 big bucks I couldn’t seal the deal on and remember it easily . Best of luck …

Had what I believe was a small back walk right by my other stand 50 yards from the one I was in . Wife watched a big red Fox for several minutes , she tried getting video but he was running all about . First scrape of the season for us , 10 yards behind the ladder stand I was in .

Misses and I are up getting around, this will be our 3 rd sit. We’ll be ramping up our effort's these next few weeks. Pulled the camera cards last Saturday and the wide 6 is still alive from last year. First picture is him last year ,second one is same camera same tree he’s probably 60 yards from camera vs first he’s 30 . so he’s grown some since . And this small 9 is new . Good luck to all.

Right , if its cool during the day we will see more activity during the day. Where’s if it’s higher than normal temps the deer tend to be more active at night .

As others have said it’s the same time every year , But the biggest driver of the rut intensity is the weather. If the cool day time temps come back we should see good activity .

You do you and hunt how ever you want I have no problem with that . But bow hunting is all about dumb luck, I really have to disagree on that ..

Wife and I we’re out Sunday morning and I heard 2 deer one behind and 20-30 mins later one out in front of me. Both were 30-40 yards and I couldn’t pick them out for nothing .
