Wife and I watched Fox this morning remembering 9-11 , and I can clearly remember exactly how I found out and how I felt watching. I just can’t fathom those who were there and lost loved ones on how they feel. .

23 7/8 or wide enough to shoot …

Well your not wrong , I agree 100% with everything you have said. And no need to take out your frustration on me . But I will say either people need to get out and vote to change this , or take matters into their own hands and as I said head to the border to buy ammo etc. or start reloading, we all knew this crap was coming .

Easy fix pay with cash. PA border is 10 min drive for me . I have all the guns i want , and I reload for all of them , so pretty well set for that . The only ammo I have to buy is 22 mag and LR …

Fantastic , with your charm and animal magnetism she’s a shoe in .. -
Some small things you’ll want to get - Serving tool , center serving and end serving spools . Arrow roller , to spin arrows to check broad head alignment . Arrow squaring tool , to square up the ends of a freshly cut arrow . D - loop rope . String splitter , handy little tool to install peep sights , drop away rest cords . A scale to see and or adjust poundage on a bow . I made the jump 20 + years ago best thing I ever did . Best part is once you get comfortable working on bows , you can do work on friends gear and help pay for your equipment . I never asked for a penny they always were more than happy to pay me .

Beware The NEW Gun Laws are in effect and aimed at HUNTERS

Lots of confusion no doubt , but this is right from the NY web sight https://gunsafety.ny.gov/ Safe Handling and Storage Law How does the new law impact transporting guns in a vehicle? Effective September 1, 2022, if you leave your gun unattended in a vehicle, it must be unloaded and locked in a fire, impact, and tamper resistant storage depository that is hidden from view. Glove compartments and glove boxes are not appropriate safe storage depositories. A plastic or aluminum, lockable, hard-sided, gun case or safe will suffice for this purpose. Ok so it has to be in a fire , impact and tamper proof case , but then says a plastic case will suffice This friggen state . If an adult remains with the vehicle to ensure security, a case or safe is not required. To prevent theft and ensure safety, it is always recommended that firearms be secured during transport. Local rules for traveling with firearms also apply and may be more restrictive. For example, New York City requires that all guns be unloaded, in a case, and out of sight, even when you are with the vehicle (Penal Law § 265.45). How am I required to store my guns in my home? If anyone younger than 18 years old or anyone who is prohibited from possessing a gun resides in the home, all firearms, rifles, and shotguns not in your immediate control must either be: secured with a gun locking device (trigger lock or cable lock) that makes them incapable of being accessed or fired by the prohibited individual, or locked securely in a safe or secure container that is fire, impact, and tamper resistant and which is locked using a key, keypad, or combination. For us pistol hunters . I hunt deer with a pistol. Am I affected by New York's gun laws? Most hunting handguns are not affected by New York's gun laws. However, you can check to see if your pistol is an assault weapon. -

Um pretty sure the Supreme Court did not come up with these new useless laws . Our acting so called governor did. She’s out to make a name for herself. -
First off , sorry about you’re mil, second - congrats on the job , you’re buck looks fantastic . And if you and the misses ever want to get that Wolverine in the mud or just do some trail riding , give me a shout the wife and I would enjoy some company playing on the atv’s .
-
Project farm did a comparison on them .

Anyone that thinks this is to make NY safer is delusional ( not directed at you ) . These new laws are just yet another way to discourage law abiding citizens from living a free constitutional life .

You could weight the bottom , grab some zip ties and pick up some quarter size stones and loop pouch the bottom of the netting in spots and zip tie the stones in .
-
If you installed now so the deer can get used to it flapping around , I’d say do it . Once the deer did get used to it you may find you could get away with a little extra movement .

Your more than welcome to shoot my Rock if you want to try another . I actually have grip spacers on mine to fatten up the grip, kinda feels like a double stack grip .
-
You know , there’s lots of 1911’s with ambi thumb safety’s. My Rock island is .

Next season I’m seriously considering taking my RIA ultra 1911 10 mm out. I may carry my super red hawk and take the 10 also, if 25 yard down shot presents itself I’d use the 10 .

460 is the best bang for the buck , 460 / 45 colt / 45 schofield / 454 casual . 4 calibers in one gun can’t beat it .

I’ve been hunting with my SRH 44 with the 9.5 barrel for some years now. I’ve taken 2 doe one at 25 yards and one at 45 - 50 yards . I had installed a scope on mine before last season , and it cost me a buck , low light opening day deer was 15 yards . So the red dot is back on her now and I’m good out to 100 yards with it . I carry mine in a bandolier holster and love hunting with it .

Congrats to you and the bride.

I know for atv’s ( I’m assuming motorcycle is the same ) he will sign over the registration and you and the seller will sign a bill of sale . Then you take the registration , bill of sale to the dmv and they will assign the motorcycle to you , and charge you sales tax on the amount you paid .
