2 different bucks in pics

Good luck guys, I'm excited for the morning regardless of weather. I'm gonna tag out by 8 then hunt ducks the rest of the weekend!

Headed for an afternoon hunt at camp then some good food and beer with the usual crew. Opening weekend is always a good time but will miss bow.

Still terrible for my area, idc though we'll be out. I'd like to be back inside with a buck hanging by 9

Guys shoot monsters every year here in NY. Some people may just need to change tactics to capitalize on big bucks if that's all it's about to you. I know people will say well we want more trophy bucks, I get it. But the opportunity for trophy deer is there, go for it instead of getting your panties in a bunch. Lol

I've had one up over one of my stands since last opening weekend and I checked yesterday, it's still there. Had a block of ice in top but good to go

Lots and lots of bad shots happen. Unfortunately it's a fact and I sire wish people would be smarter and care more. I've said on here before it's startling the number just on here that we see. I know it happens but wow. Alot has to do with having compassion for the deer. I only take very very high percentage shots because the one deer I ever lost I quit for the season and didn't know if I'd pick up a bow again. Of course I did but as a changed Hunter. Taking a bad shot and banking on a tracking dog is just ridiculous, no excuse for it. Using a tracking dog on a deer that a mistake happens is completely different.

I literally could have shot 15 different Bucks this season. I enjoy my time in the woods so I pass lots of deer. Personal preference.

Last sit of bow. I've had shots and passed every single sit this season. A good friend has trouble hunting and has asked me to take a doe if I get a chance. It'll be the first doe I ever shoot with a bow if I connect.

Had a tresspasser come by me on my dad's property today in catt county. I whistled and told him to get lost and he continues to tell me it's his property. Lol I calmly told him he's on my dad's property and I'd be happy to bring my dad over (which wouldn't be in his best interest). He got loud and now my throat is sore but I think I got my point across... Better not see him again.
