  1. One small buck before dark came dogging through. 3 bucks today on a dark to dark sit. Dark to dark sits through Friday unless I can capitalize sooner. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  2. Had a good buck cruise past me this morning in predawn, couldn't tell how big he was, camera got him though. Just had another good one at 90 yds searching. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

  7. Crushfest today, and not a boat around. Had to pull my third rod in because it was too much chaos for just me. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  8. I did the same last week. After watching the doe clean one fawns face for 10 minutes I decided I wasn't going to break them up. Maybe I'm just getting softer... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  9. I actually don't like eating them much, my buddies get mine. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  10. Ducks this AM. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  11. Don't forget that the "power stroke" on a crossbow is much shorter than a 30" compound length. This is partially why you double/triple the draw weight to achieve the relative same speed. You could have a 400lb crossbow but if the stroke is only 6" long you're going to have poor performance. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  12. Always use a white headlamp, you aren't sneaking past deer because you have a different color headlamp. If white light was so off putting to a deer then why do they get ran over by the thousands in traffic? Ever spotlight deer? Do they run at the sight of light? No. Deer aren't spooking because of your light, they spook because your noise, your smell, your cadence is unnatural to them. Anyone who says they don't use a light isn't going in or out in the dark, period. Dark adapt still only works with some additional light, and takes quite awhile for eyes to adjust fully. 13. Thanks, I broke in @moog5050 obsession bow I bought from him! Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  14. 3 yotes came in, 1 left. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  15. My favorite, public land. 3 photo mashup for different angles. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  16. I see little difference in baiting vs plots. To put it in salmon terms, snagging is illegal, but drifting a line through their mouth and setting the hook is legal, both are snagging. Feeding deer in a pile or a patch is the same difference to me. To each their own, I really don't care either way. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  17. I thought I was reading Moby Dick there for a minute! Hahaha Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  18. You may be right. What I'm saying is that they should address the nomenclature as "restricted" or "no restrictions." A sportsman restriction is STILL a concealed carry permit. My permit says "concealed carry" on the front face, so by only addressing the entire bill as "conceal carry", it's deceiving. All permits issued are "concealed carry" in this state. I know what you're getting at, I'm simply saying that referring to "conceal carry" is a "no shit, they all are conceal carry" moment to me, whether they are restricted or not is a separate classification. 19. They're all "concealed carry", NY does not issue any other type of pistol permit. They did not specify anywhere in the troopers information any distinction, they only mention, "concealed carry." I guess I'm not too sure that I'd have to write a judge to remove restrictions when the whole premise of the Scotus decision was to not have the burden of proof for no restrictions? Where did you see that you must write a judge to lift any restrictions? I realize it used to operate that way. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  20. My question is being that all permits are "concealed carry" are they only referring to "full carry"? Or is a sportsman now considered in the "no 16hr course needed" also going forward to be considered no restrictions? They don't mention "no restrictions", simply "concealed carry." 21. It isn't, it's the legal form of snagging... Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  22. Couldn't keep them off this morning. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  23. If you have a boat, I'd highly recommend going into the estuary and casting crankbaits for salmon. It's much more fun getting them to crush a thunderstick than snagging them in the river surrounded by 100 people. You won't "hook up" as many times as in the river, but you're looking for the aggressive fish that snap at baits. If you've ever pike/muskie fished then imagine a fish 3 times the size smashing a plug. I started out in the river but haven't fished it in 3 years now, the people and the snagging aren't fun to me. I'll resume the river fishing in November when the steelhead are in and the people are out. If you want specifics on where/what to use let me know. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
  24. Squash looks like you have some blossom rot. I've had it in the past, I found that adding calcium to the soil solved my issues. I bought a few containers of tums and ground them up and mixed into water. Seemed to do the trick for me. I now add calcium before I plant every year and haven't had it since.... 25. Haha. I typically do real well now that they're on more of a pattern, and the bugs are gone. I boated 10 eyes this morning, some shorts and some barely 15's that I didn't keep. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk
