  1. Bad design. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. There is a latch that covers the buttons. External buttons can be made that works. This cam has a rubber gasket that stops short on both sides, causing leak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Muddy was bought out. They're part of the family that owns big game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Avoid. They went cheap on cam body components. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That ethanol crushes my equipment. I have to drive 30 minutes to get ethanol free gas and that sucks. Mowing once a month seems easy enough. That's pretty low maintenance.
  6. WNF is so big I don't think you need guides - as a group you can camp there and have a home base with everyone out hunting their own spots or helping set up stands, etc.
  7. The other thing is I am now only getting certain messages through Tapatalk and they don't show up on the computer. I bounce back and forth so this is a PITA.
  8. Ohio - Wayne National Forest.
  9. I only shoot one arrow an end other than dialing in bow or BH.
  10. Pre-update, I would often click on my content to see activity on the threads I have been active on. I can't seem to figure out how to do that now. Ideas?
  11. All - I am placing my next round of orders for Spartan and Browning cameras. I plan to order from Browning tomorrow - if you want a camera, now is probably the best time to order from me to get the best possible price since I won't have to hold the stock over. This order is very large so I am unsure of when I will place my next order with Browning. Spartan will be going in Tuesday or Wednesday - same scenario if you are looking for the best cell/data camera on the market. PM for very good prices.
  12. There is nothing on the market that is going to help you catch someone who steals the cam. The gps part of bushnell requires you add the location in its geotag. This is good marketing spin but it's not going to result in you catching a thief. The best hope you have is getting a pic transmitted. In fact one member here on this very site arrested a trespasser and thief this past week from a cam I sold him. The cam sent the pic before thief turned it off. Cops showed up and arrested him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The gps function doesn't work well in Bushnell. Not a feature I would bank on or choose a cam on. If you want a Gocam let me know. They're the best wireless cam on the market. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Best of luck to you. I will bow out of this thread. Please do not make further assumptions about me and then post them. Simple request. Thanks.
  15. I was speaking in general. Sometimes people can't see the forest for the trees. This camera has so many weak points that relying on it is a mistake.
  16. Only hope is to find a dead cam with a good battery case portion and swap it out. Find one with a bad screen or switch. That is the only solution IMO.
  17. I've found deer "never" always or never do something. An example of your statement being incorrect is a hard break with the wind coming off the hard break and flowing into an open expanse. In that scenario, the deer is likely looking down wind or crosswind. Or hill country and the deer using the thermals to look downwind as the winds rise or drop to cover the backside.
  18. Have any moving target pics? The stationary blur reduction shots are nice, but that means it's only good for a scrape cam unless it cam capture deer on the trail without looking like a blur. The other thing I am not a fan of is how Spypoints tend to still have the flashlight effect on the edges of their images. That said, the 11D is a pretty quick pic taking cam.
  19. The site is pursuitoutdoors.com. The current website is just a placeholder for now as I am selling a fair amount through word of mouth at this point. Please PM for deals. The Command Ops is their lower end cam - from a value perspective it is decent. But, personally, I would have stepped up to the Strike Force, even if it were last year's model.
  20. There's a difference between a bargain cam and a good cam at a bargain price.
  21. The 10 is a waste of time - the only one worthwhile is the Force 11D. It is a leader of performance as far as trigger/battery life, etc....and then falls on its face at night. Poor night images to say the least. But it can take a lot of pics, long battery life, and solid trigger. No idea how they got that cam out with such poor night images. If they had good night images, that cam would be hard to beat. I sell Browning, so next time you need a cam, let me know.
  22. Damage and nuisance permits should be provided only after ground is opened to hunting in-season, and offer the tax break incentive. People would hate it, but that would open some doors likely.
  23. Deer will use these at night and bed farther away from the field edges than normal to avoid to over-pressure these areas get. Ohio has a lot of this situation and the borders of the field get pounded, but moving off the ag 1/2 mile to the most likely bedding areas (usually hilly terrain) will find you leave the hunters behind and the deer bed there.
