A good chunk of the off-road community see alot of value in the power delivery. I would totally get one as the product lifecycle matures. One of the best selling PHEVs if not the #1 is the Jeep - so take that for what it is worth.
-
what was the build date on the vehicle? Usually on the door jamb. That would solve the 21 vs 22 most likely.
-
@Biz-R-OWorld tell me you at least dumped some money into oil stocks/funds? I went balls deep on 2-22. Heck yeah...heck yeah.

Buying that plug in hybrid for my wife seems like a better choice each day. Fuel/electricity cost I back of napkin'd was $3.80 for my round trip to work in that thing when I drove it this week for giggles, vs just over $16 in my 4Runner. I could lower the cost more if I could charge that thing at work, too.

Be ready for tax increases everyone. The inflated prices are here to stay for a while and the tax assessors are coming for your booty. Trust me, they are.

This is a hunting forum and you post multiple times asking for who is a non-citizen, yet don't ask for their background. Maybe one of these members is on the path to legal citizenship. Maybe not. You painted with a wide brush though, and when it happened to you, your pants got into a twist, so thank you for proving my point. It feels bad when it happens to you? Remember that next time.

Your first lines are hyperbolic in itself. Face it, he called out people in this forum wanting to know their nationality, without wanting to know their background. For as much as your hyperbolic statement about non-citizens might be true, so may be the premise that these non-citizens are in the US following the right path to citizenship, and they too, have an opinion. But, he didn't ask that. Don't worry, I don't wear the Star of David, and vote Republican, so I'm safe, I guess. Good grief.

Weird flex. My views align more with conservative principles and I have never voted for an independent or democrat. Equally as such, I prefer both side operate with a sense of truth and decorum, and also curiosity to not isolate themselves within their own paradigm. I don't think anyone is changing opinions in this thread as much as I would hope to see a spirit of conversation. At the end of the day, a madman emboldened or not is still a madman. While no nation is perfect, we do have a democratically-elected president of a European nation who is experiencing an invasion, that unless I am mistaken, nobody here states is legit, and that leader is about to be deposed, jailed, or worse. That is where we are at. We can blame the guy in the WH, we can blame his predecessor, but in the end, the truth is that a guy who is losing touch with reality in all likelihood is holding the world hostage and placing a boot on the throat of a free-standing nation. Solving it going forward becomes paramount.

The real answer is to go to Cheesecake factory - they take forever, so for a last meal, you'll get to stay alive longer, theoretically.

A nice slice of prime rib or a quality steak. Fresh sweetcorn on the cob. garlic smashed potatoes, a small salad starter, with some chicken wings/fries as an appetizer. Ice cold beer. I'm not a huge dessert person but eff it, it's the last meal. Caramel Brownie with a scoop of ice cream, or a slice of german chocolate cake or carrot cake, or homemade apple pie or chocolate chip cookies. Any of them will do.

I have a friend in that area who is a die-hard hunter (IE not a weekend warrior). He said they do have some issues with trespassing from time to time with respect to the weekenders you noted. They seem to be willing to play the ignorance card. Occasional theft of cams. It's not defcom level 5 stuff but he is just aware of things a bit more. Usually he gets a good three year old buck every year there, but he laments that they are not as big as some other areas of the state. Overall he enjoys the place. He probably has 15 bucks from there with average three year olds around 100-110" for the most part.

You must be confused as to oil independence and what net exporter means. Independence means we do not rely on foreign oil, we do. And we did in Trump’s time, too. Face it, you consumed Russian oil under Trump. Likely every American did. This really isn’t hard to understand but it sure seems to be tripping people up.
-
Re-Read Shoots100’s statement I quoted. He said - we were oil independent under Trump and now we’re buying billions of Russian oil to fund the war. He didn’t say we are buying MORE now than under Trump. He alluded to thinking that we were oil independent and magically started buying Russian oil under Biden. We have bought Russian oil every single month for decades. That is my point. People need to understand what people are fed to them.
-
I guess I’m confused now - trending down is not independent. Nor is that what “they” were saying. They, we’re saying we didn’t rely on other countries for oil any longer - IE independent. Are we just not going to acknowledge millions of barrels of oil being imported from multiple countries? Why is your point sliding now to trending down vs independent? There is a physical difference. Example is Shoots says we were oil independent under Trump and now we’re buying billions of $ in oil from Russia to fuel the war; that implies we weren’t buying oil from Russia during Trump’s time, when in fact we were still buying substantial billions of dollars of oil. If he intended to say now we’re buying MORE than we did before, that’s one thing, but he didn’t, and I hear that repeatedly from people in my own party. It’s a bad argument. It gives the semblance that people don’t understand we bought oil every single month from Russia for decades. And by your I mean the collective, not you.
-
The problem lies within crude oil, by product, energy, etc. There isn’t a standard metric that everyone agrees with for the most part. It gets into an apples to oranges thing. But the real net is that we still import a tremendous amount today and we did in Trump’s time too. The gap is many conservatives seem to be taking the improved production vs consumption as being independent and that simply isn’t true. We consumed many millions of barrels of oil from Russia and Canada primarily, in Trumps time and this goober’s time.
-
Actually we became the worlds largest oil producer in 2021. We were not the worlds largest oil producer in Trumps time. Im conservative by nature but let’s make sure we’re not full of bluster here. I don’t know about Saudi but at the end of the day they buy tigers and license plates with low numbers for fun with their oil money lol.
