  2. We called in and killed this big male Saturday morning (2/25). First coyote and first time turning on a FoxPro. We are hooked! Shot in Schoharie county.
  3. I got this 7 pointer in 4G opening day 15 minutes into legal shooting time.
  4. all of those deer are 1.5 years old
  5. Im in 4G and only a handful of times have I gotten good summer buck pics. Once the velvet sheds, they show up.
  6. Good info on the orange color in the beard. I remember you posting this pic a few years back. Thanks for the refresher!
  7. Good info guys. It looks like I killed a 3 year old this year based on this info. 9" beard 1" spurs
  8. How do you guys determine the age of a bird when it appears to be 2+ years old? I cant tell the difference between a good sized 2 year old and say a 3 or 4 year old bird...Any thoughts?
  9. Love that last pic!! Congrats!!
  10. According to Ray Eye's Turkey Hunting bible, birds gobble best on consecutive nice, high pressure, windless days.
  11. All good.... Here is a pic of me and my cousin with bird #2
  12. Deerpassion what the hell are you talking about? I didn't kill a turkey last year... Try typing complete sentences to make more sense...
  13. We were both using quaker boy double reed mouth calls. Cutting and making a racket sounding like two slutty hens lol.
  14. I hunted the first four days of turkey season at my farm in Schoharie, NY. The hunting was nothing short of epic. I shot my bird at 10:40 am on opening day. He had a 9 in beard and 1 inch spurs. Second morning we called in a Tom that I had a shot at but wanted my cousin to take. We had a strutter decoy out and the bird didn't like him so he wandered off. Third morning we see a strutter in a field 350+ yards away with 2 hens. We crawled into position (not thinking anything would happen) and wouldn't you know it he marches right down the hill away from his hens and straight to our calling. My cousin shot him at 20 yards. Never in a million years did I think that bird would leave the hens to come to us. Gobbles in every direction, every morning. We got my hunt on film but the file is too large to upload.
  15. I almost had a heart attack getting one of mine over the weekend. No pics for a whole month but from end of gun season to mid January there were tons of turkeys and deer hitting my clover plot. I got a pic of 7 longbeards. Im excited for May 1st!
  16. Last weekend out here by me in Bellport Bay there was a huge raft of bluebills. They have since disappeared. They said DU did a flyover the Canadian border and there were still over a million mallards there last week. It needs to get cold! We got these Gaddys and hen mallard the final minutes Sunday afternoon.
  17. What makes you think that's a yearling deer? Not being a smartass at all I just think his body looks pretty chunky for a yearling.
  18. Shot this big mama on Saturday at 12:50 pm in 4G. I was on stand for 45 min and didn't even get to eat my lunch before she came through with 3 other does. She was the biggest by far. This is the fourth deer taken off my property this season: 3 does and a 7 pointer.
  19. I shot this buck last Thursday 11/13/2014 at 9 am in Suffolk County. He came in following 2 does. I canned at him and he came in to 15 yards. Day 4 of my 5 day vacation.

    Two fatties in 4G
  21. They bait and cheat because they couldn't kill a deer any other way. They are not hunters, they are poachers, liars, cheaters, and scum.
