Because it says not only do we not want you here, we want you to pay to keep yourselves out. So it is antagonistic as hell but moreover it's just pointless; if you support the wall you would support even if the US has to pay for it. And if you don't, it's just another thing to hate about it.

Lots of unfortunate things came out of his mouth. Like the wall stuff for example. I like the wall. But, why make Mexico pay for it? That just pisses people off. What was the point of that? It's vindictive, really, and all it does is alienate.

I thought about this and read a bit about does and fawns and the state fawns are in during hunting season (their age and maturity), etc. and have decided that I would in fact take a doe with a fawn unless the fawn was very small. I do have a heart somewhere in there Animals can feel emotions, if not the same mature ones we can. My guess is that if a fawn sees its mother disappear it has some sense of loss. I don't know how profound, probably not terribly, and I imagine the feeling quickly disappears as it continues on in its fairly simple life of looking for one of only three things: food, shelter, mating (when it's older).

Given what is happening I recommend you stop chasing your hits after each shot. At this point you don't know if the weapon is shooting badly or if your scope is adjusting badly. I'd shoot a three shot group minimum. Once you can find its approximate center, then adjust, then shoot another group. When first zeroing something I think it's okay to adjust after a single shot if it's badly off, but as you get closer to where you want to be it's increasingly important to find out how much "slop" in the hit is due to scope from shot to shot or weapon from shot to shot.

America is a dynasty. The democracy is just a facade. Once hillary wins, we'll have had, going back to the 90's, a guy elected, then another guy, then the first guy's son, then another guy, then the second guy's wife. The odds of this happening in a proper meritocracy are in the hundreds of millions. And yet here we are, and the last one elected will have been under active criminal investigation for selling her office. People will celebrate tonight when she wins, but they will be celebrating putting another weasel in the oval. Unfortunately, the republican electorate will have learned nothing from this. Trump was a train wreck we could see from very, very far away, but they nominated him anyway. and this election has gone exactly as the rest of us thought it would.

I've never agreed with this line of thinking. If your options are crap why must you choose one to be able to complain about the options?

There are polls that control for that. There is a lot of misinformation going around, though, and a lot of conflicting information. Early voting is a big variable and people are trying to infer from 2012 behavior what current numbers indicate (e.g. go to drudge right now). It's very easy to cherry pick stuff that confirms desires. Blacks supporting trump less than obama. Latinos more. Women hate trump. Men hate hillary. etc.

They've already been violent, though.

From what I can tell violence from the left has been more marked than that from the right this election. Also, if hillary wins do you think we'll have riots or violence from the right? Neither do I. Can you say the same if trump wins? Nope.

I just see a surprising reversal in the past 24-48 hours for trump, not only at 538 but also RCP. He's now down 2.7% or something, vs only 1.5% behind a couple days ago. Polls are also all over the map. I saw one poll today for Florida maybe or some state he was behind 11 points, but another poll had him tied. This insane wth is going on is why 538 has him as high as they do, otherwise I think 538 would have him losing more significantly, but there is a ton of crazy variance in polls right now so they are hedging their bets. I can tell you this: A trump victory wouldn't surprise me at this point like it would be silly clowns at huffpo who think he has a 98% chance of losing. But, if my life depended on it I'd say he loses. The only way he wins is if the polls in general are wrong. And they might be, but it's not where the safe money goes.

Other polls are showing Trump slipping in the last few days. 538 has him at 1/3rd chances to win right now and the way things are moving in some other polls that may be more like 30% tomorrow. I think people need to brace for impact on this. The odds have been long on Trump the entire election. The numbers just aren't in his favor. Florida is a dead-heat for example, and it is a crucial, absolutely crucial must-win for him. It's not over, but it doesn't look good.

Very likely. He knew about and used her email server despite claiming he didn't and has already exercised executive privilege to have all these emails he wrote/received purged from the record. Corruption is an octopus with many arms and this is what you get. When so many are in on it, it's too big to fail. it's why you can have a financial crisis and only a single conviction. Still outrageous. And it's why you can have multiple people knowingly and rampantly violate the espionage act yet nothing happens to them, nor ever will it would appear. "yes, master" is something humanity has not yet bred out of itself.

Don't forget she also had her maid printing off classified documents. And I'm not even joking. Can you imagine how ridiculous that is to write and be not joking about it? The only way we get closure on this, but that hasn't changed with Comey's announcement, is if trump wins. At that point I don't even care about the emails, as hillary will be gone from public life and fade into nothing. But, the odds are not on the side of that happening, so I still implore all to brace for impact. We have a chance, though...

Trump has held steady at mid 30's now according to 538. I assume that's the best we're going to get before Tuesday. Not sure Comey screwing us over again will move the needle or not.

Yep. Can't believe comey screwed this up again, but there you go. I expect democrats to once again say he's competent and a model FBI director.

we are potentially setting a dangerous precedent where we are now willing to elect people who are undeniably corrupt and under criminal investigation. It is very very worrying and a highly destructive step for any country.

ny state still has a guideline on sample weapons that are illegal, such as bushmasters and AR variants and all this crap, even though the safe act unequivocally and without confusion does not list specific guns whatsoever as being illegal. Just features. I believe the state does it as a disinformation campaign; even though the law may not say it's illegal, if they have it on their website they can scare people away who don't know any better.

Only you know how much time you have. I'd use the crap one for saturday unless I could find a few hours for the new one, and in any case take saturday afternoon and swap it out. Cheap scopes are crap. Everyone always says don't skimp on optics, and now I'm a believer in that, too.

I make two promises to you: 1) If she wins the presidency, she'll never face justice over the emails or clinton foundation. Pardon from obama and if he refuses, she'll pardon herself 2) If she loses the presidency she will NEVER, EVER run again. This is absolutely, guaranteed her last and final chance to become president. I'm even more confident of that than I am of 1). She blew the 2008 campaign, and if she blows this due to her corruption and criminal behavior not even the dems, stupid as they have proven themselves by nominating her, would back that horse again. This doesn't even require the high chance she has a medical event in the next four years that permanently precludes any serious considering of her even being fit for office.

Good to go with the pump gun or anything non-semi. I can't remember honestly if there is a 10 round limit on ALL firearms in the state or not now, regardless of semi-status. But, you can also build a fully featured AR with flash hider, pistol grip, foregrip, whatever you like as long as it isn't a semi (e.g. a pump AR and yes they do exist) OR as long as it doesn't have a detachable magazine (e.g. glue the mag release and then you have to load by pivoting the upper).

I like to face because it's less swiveling of the head. But, when I got lucky early last month I was facing exactly away from the deer that came. As such I was able to move around and draw with the tree obscuring most of my movement and took him as he was at the 7 or 8 oclock position. I'm spending far more time standing now in my stand so that I can be more prepared. Seated and having to get up just takes more time/movement.
