    Finally! First sit of bow. 4-0 33 n breezy. Saw the 7 pt last night near my driveway as I was pulling in during rainstorm @ 945 pm Same one my son saw couple days ago. Happy to be up a tree. Good luck to all . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I haven't been out with the bow yet, but I can pass on my son in 4-0 saw 4 doe and a 7 pt. 17 yard broadside for doe but he passed as buck was out in field about 65 yards out. This am.     My son has the Savage model 11-111 xp trophy hunter left hand in .270 . He has shot 4 white tails a hog and a coyote with it, it comes with a Nikon bdc reticle scope 3-9 I believe. Black synthetic stock, he shoots it well and it's reasonable in price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I hunt in region 4 in an a/r dmu. I have been hunting 40 years in the same area, and I believe we went to a/r in 2011 . So it really has changed the way we hunt. The challenge is antler identification, along with a clear and safe shot for a quick kill. My group of hunters are now used to a/r and we continue to kill bucks. Whether you for them or not is a personal choice, but I will say that prior to a/r anything bigger than a six pt. was rare for us to take. Now we seem to get at least one or two eight points per season. Passing spikes and fours that would have been shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    On my neighbors place, haven't hunted this year on top of mountain tucked in a saddle with three game trails. Windy n 28 degrees, my son in his favorite bow stand. We'll see, good luck to all be safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    23 years ago I was working in my shed when my wife lets out a scream. I look out to see a large male Rottweiler pinning my son against the side wall of the house, in my truck was a 12 gauge pump and some slugs. I grabbed gun as I ran out to my son who was crying. Only reason I didn't shoot dog was he was wagging his tail and was trying to get my son peanut butter sandwiche. I put a rope around dog brought to the d$&k owner. And kicked his door till he came out and told him next time the dog won't be so lucky, and your not gonna look to good either. I love dogs but it's between a dog n my kid, bye bye.     I myself don't eat deer liver, but my brother and father love it. They usually cut into small chunks and put in a fry pan with onions and bacon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
