  1. Whatever your thoughts on the passenger are, he's gonna be several million dollars richer. I fly frequently and have volunteered occasionally if it works for me. I know all about the passengers flight agreement, it's a product of the monopoly and lobbying of our elected officials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Nice looking buck! Not legal where I hunt. So I'd have to wait till he grows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You can get an authorization to use it to hunt. Call NYPD license division. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes I agree with that as far as target ID must be carefully done so as not to shoot a big four with no brow tines or other bucks that would not be legal. But overall it not that bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I hunt in region 4 and have had a/r in my hunting area since 2010 I believe. I will say it has been no problem for myself and my family and I feel it has improved our hunting as well . I bought this property in 1985 so I have a good understanding of my area as I have been hunting there since 1977. The first year of a/r the action was a little slow , as far as buck sightings but I now see more racked bucks than ever before and the rutting activity seems to be increased. Prior to a/r shooting an 8 pt or better was not that often , since a/r we take one or two a year. I've also seen some beauties during archery . I was sceptical when we went to A/R but it's actually been pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. No my experience has been If a fawn is alone I assume it's a buck fawn. Of course this is been my observations of 40 years. I believe NYS DEC mentions this somewhere in the hunting magazine they publish each season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Their second season they would be 1-1/2 years old with some antlers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Buck fawns are pushed out by the mother , and are usually wandering alone during hunting season. That makes them more susceptible to being harvested by humans and other predators. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Went yesterday, spoke to a lot of outfitters for hunting and a few fishing. Probably go back on Saturday with my son and see what kind of trip we wanna go on next. I did notice quite a few places had clients working the booth, with little knowledge of the operation. Didn't spend much time with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. If every hunter on both sides of the season length argument want to tweak it somehow it's probably just right. My opinion is leave as is and enjoy a pretty long bow and gun season. I still believe winter weather impacts the herd more than any form of hunting. Imho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. God bless him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. One of my brothers is the same way, if he had to choose either deer or turkey hunting, he would choose turkey. I love bowhunting deer during the rut. My favorite time to be in the woods. However turkey hunting is a lot of fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
