    I wish I could make it tonight! My buddies furnace broke the other day and today is the only day I have free to install a new for him. The rest of the wkend and wk is shot with Christmas upon us. Have a great time boys! Maybe next time!

    I started oct 1st also. I've only missed a hand full of days all season! I've had a lot of fun. I'm also going to miss it a lot!

    My cousin shot on sat. Same thing and my buddy told me last wkend he had shot one. It seems early to me. But if the rut was early the testosterone levels have fallen and they will shed.

    Hoyt! I spent a lot of money on mine! 12yrs ago! I had it re strug 2 years ago. The guy said why are u shooting this dinosaur! I said cause it still kills deer! And it really does suck that Parker is going out of business for the guys who like them. And because they were made here!

    I'm telling u guys. Check out bearded butchers on YouTube. The victornox knife is the real deal. And watch how he sharpens the knife. Haven't tried sharpening yet. But I have butchered 5 deer with that knife and it's still razor sharp

    Thanks everyone. It was an eye opener. I just wanted to pass it along so everybody pays just a little more attention and we all make it back home to of family and friends after spending a day in the field. I love the woods and the streams and watching the sun come up and the animals waking up. But just a little reminder of how dangerous it can be! Be safe out there!

    So I went out for an evening hunt yesterday. To this woods that was logged a few years back. There are some really nice log piles to climb on. So I climb up on one. I was sitting on this one log I've sat on a 100 times. Something broke and sent the top log Rolling down towards me. It was easily a 1000 pound log. I couldn't get out of the way. I really thought it was over. There was this branch about 5" round. It stopped the log just before it crushed me. I climbed up to the top of that pile so fast! My heart was pounding and I was sick to my stomach. Shaking like a leaf! Just please be careful guys and gals. It happens quick

    I'm heading out now. Not really sure why. I guess it's just part of who I am. Season is coming to a close. And I have to wait a whole year to hunt these beautiful animals again.

    i bought my property 12 years ago now! So I have a go to stand on my property. I've killed out of it every year. I was starting to worry it was going to let me down this year. But I took a doe out of it this past weekend! So it still hasn't let me down. Anyone else have one of these stands on there property?
