    The 2 deer I have taken with my 25-06, I had to search for the exit honestly, but I do not process them myself. I shoot the old Remington Core-Lokt bullets though. I don’t know if any of this, is of any value to you though.

    Funny you say this, a coworker who hunts about an hour south in 3M, has had a season completely opposite as to what he's used to. He gets a giant every year, but this year has gone many days of seeing nothing, and has not seen any mature bucks. He just sent me a pic of a big buck 160 yards out in a field, and is one of the few deer he's seen in a week id say.

    Thanks for taking the time to share some knowledge with me. I am not 100% sure if that is what it was, but it reminded me of that, I did not see any deer at all.

    Haven’t seen a thing, so I took a portrait of lunch. Ham/Salami/swiss sammich. I did hear what sounded like a LOUD snort wheeze. I have never heard that in person, but have heard it on videos. Isn’t that a buck intimidation tactic?
