    C'mon man, no need for name calling. You have to admit, this is a wild thread. I seriously keep chickens, and when they're out in the yard, we seriously feed them. So I was asking a serious question. All good?

    What's wrong with feeding chickens? We have 10 or so - if we can't keep feeding them, they sure aren't going to last very long - those DANG things need to eat! I'm not a poacher, jacklighter, baiter, or some other scum for feeding my chickens, am I?

    Did he say he sold it to him, or did he say the guy admitted putting it out as bait? Is the story just that you know he's buying it, and don't really know what he's doing with it? I'm against baiting and certainly wouldn't do it, but I have to say if a neighbor called the DEC on me as a baiter just because I purchased 8 tons of corn from someone he knows, that neighbor would be at the top of my poop list for a looong time!

    I put a second through her, and it exited out her lower front shoulder. Armpit kinda. Rage just about severed her leg off.

    Skipper doe. Bad shot, deflected off a branch and hit way high. Spined her, and put another through her. Would have liked that to go a little more cleanly, but she's hanging and the 2018 rust is shaken off.

    Well, didn't go off as smooth as I would have wanted, but here's my xbow entry. Skipper doe. Watched her long enough to know she wasn't a button buck and my finger got itchy. Saw my luminock deflect upward off of a branch in front of me and spined her. Dropped in place and I put another through while I could.

    I didn't say they don't care about revenue - I said they don't care if sportsmen boycott license sales. If they have a 50 million shortfall, they just jack up some other fee or tax to cover said shortfall. You know, kind of like when they give out all the Medicaid money and run short, they raise property taxes to cover it. How's your property taxes been over the last 10 years? Most of the last 10 years of increases in your town and county taxes don't stay in your town or county.

    I'm not a fighter in the least, but I would have ripped open his throat with my bare hands. That's just plain evil. He'll get his someday.

    NYS doesn't care. If they have a shortfall, they'll just jack up another tax or fee to cover it. The state will never feel a penny of it. Dick's on the other hand is a business that answers to shareholders.

    The only purchase I have made this year was the redemption of $20 rewards which I used to buy wool socks. I figured if I didn't get some merchandise, it would be like donating $20 to their anti gun lobbyists. I used to spend about $1000/year there. Not any longer. But I have dropped about $1000 at Cabelas this year. One more time for the newbies or the uninformed; They are taking the profits from sales to you to pay anti-gun lobbyists to work against us. It may not make a difference to some of you, but please stop funding the lobbyists to work against the rest of us.
