    Proven Bear-proof. Pic is from whatever crummy flip phone I was toting around in 2013. Chain link fence around and on top with top rail reinforcements. We were gifted with a cat a few years ago, and she lives in the chicken coop, so we get the occasional raccoon or opossum that gets in through her entrance. But the bears have been stymied.

    Besides fat, balding, old, ornery, and opinionated, I refuse to be labeled! Now that that's out of the way, I'm actually a libertarian by any political alignment test I've ever taken. Registered as a repub though so I can do my part in primaries.

    No cuts yet for this guy. Changed the oil in the rider yesterday, and gave it some loving with a grease gun and touch up paint on the deck. Put down the crabgrass preventer, and gave the mower a wash and dry. At 1770 ft elevation so we're running behind some folks in the grass growing department. Maybe this coming weekend.

    I don't disagree, but certainly not before the election. The GOP were reluctant as hell to have him be their nominee. After the election they saw the wisdom of using him as a bulldozer. One thing for sure, it's going to be much easier for the next republican prez now that a lot of the heavy lifting is done. Just another reason that we can't have Biden in there to roll back the odometer.

    As I understand it, Marinas and their launches are specifically banned under the general order of a non essential business. A boat launch on an individual’s private property is fine, but for their use only. The short-lived workaround was that the DEC launches weren’t listed in the ban. Now they are I guess. Good old King Andy sure loves a good ban.

    Like a dumbass I was lost in a daydream and drove right by my turn in Ithaca. Didn’t realize it until 10 miles down the road. Will check it out tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning.

    The actual order from the King is we have to wear them in public only if social distancing can’t be done. In his press conference he mentioned like on a crowded sidewalk or the subway or train. That said, I’ve been wearing a mask in public for the last week. I feel like a bad citizen not wearing one in public.
