  1. Great question. When I started hunting in Steuben County in the 80's, we had a couple of packs of wild dogs around the top of our hill that the locals eventually eradicated, but they were definitely dogs and not coyotes. Started hearing the yotes sing at night around the mid to late 90's.
  2. I'm missed last year but am definitely in this year - Friday or Saturday is best for me.
  3. Absolutely - and they're less filling!
  4. What about solunar tables? Included or extra fee?
  5. Couple of $20 square purchases for me is about it. Was thinking about stopping at Tioga Downs and seeing what their new sports book has going on but it's a little out of my way, and I'm not a big gambler. Go Chiefs!
  6. My wife used to stare longingly at something of mine. After 40 years of marriage, not so much any more...
  7. Man, all of a sudden I feel low brow. I probably have 10-12 watches. All together they're probably worth a couple hundred bucks. But I do rock the indiglo, lol!
  8. Congrats Rob! Never heard a bad thing about that brand. My next boat will be a Tracker.
  9. I've never picked him for a fantasy QB, and I'm definitely not a Giants fan, but 2 Super Bowl wins, 2 Super Bowl MVP's, seventh in history in passing yards and passing touchdowns makes a fairly compelling resume for the HOF.
  10. Great cause - I'm in. Don't get hurt on the ice!
  11. Just saw that this morning - wife and I will be signing for sure! I joined the FB group which is showing 3,429 members already. Rob, closer to us is Campbell Building Supply, and in Savona is Steuben Auto, Steuben Sporting Goods and the Flying H.
  12. Congrats AT! I took a fawn with the crossbow this year. We took three other adult deer and we are going sparingly on the fawn to make it last - so tender! Keep it going! Still have tags?
  13. Any flat features on the side? A 90 degree square would get you that level surface. But yeah, I have a rimfire that has really no flat features anywhere.
  14. But how good is the alignment of two perfect rings when mounted on a dovetail or picatinny? Perfectly aligned rings should never leave marks on a scope either. I'm being kind of fussy, but am an ex Toolmaker/Machinist, so it's a learned thing. Being more than .0005 out of parallel bothers me from a precision standpoint. I've also never done it, so I'd like that to be my next step up. Belo, I'll watch that video tonight.
  15. Eh, if he asked you, you might have said "it's for my frozen nuts". "and hurry up, I'm cold"!
  16. And a leveling kit to keep those crosshairs square. Cheap enough. I plan on upping my scope mounting game with a lapping kit for my next mount/remount.
  17. Congratulations Biz - she’s beautiful!
