Update #2. I wrote the first update at 7:20ish. At 7:38PM I get another email telling us that we they are now shutting down the entire school for 2 full weeks.

Update: it was two kids. One in the 5th grade and one in the 4th grade. Their class will go full remote for 14 days. The school was closed today to be completely sanitized. Rest of the school re-opens for in person learning tomorrow.

You have to fill out a consent form but if you don't fill it out then you have to go full remote learning.

Just got this email at 9:36 PM. Random testing was done on Tuesday. My son didn’t get picked but 5 kids in his class got picked to be tested Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not as cavalier and lean more on the cautious side but I agree with this. If you're not concerned, you have every right to do so. If you're concerned, you have every right to be. Just respect the wishes of others. For example...my son is doing hybrid. When he is in school, he wears a mask all day. Once he gets out, all his friends hit the playground and run around. Good luck keeping those masks on then. Naturally, you talk to the other parents. If the other parent has their mask on, I put mine on when I talk to them. If I see they have theirs down...then I pull mines down as well. Mask doesn't protect you anyway. It serves to protects others around you. The key is to have good air circulation. Might be best to keep a couple of windows open and spend as much time outside by a fire.

The hassle is the paperwork. Once you drop it off, you just forget about it. Then however long later, you'll receive your license in the mail. Sounds like you had done or the work already before calling it quits. To each their own. Bow hunting does indeed open a lot of hunting opportunities for sure. Especially close to the city. But shotgun and rifles also open up a lot of others as well (small game, waterfowl, coyotes, etc).

Since they won't ship to the city, I had heeeaarrrddd that you can order an airgun online and have it shipped to a fedex location outside of the city and then set it for local pick up.

I did mine many years ago and it was pretty quick. Maybe things have changed. Not sure why you cancelled. If it was filled out and sitting there, no harm to just let it sit till it got processed.

They're your typical self storage companies. Nothing special. As long as you pad lock it up and enter and exit discreetly, I think you should be fine. I've seen ads for as low as $39 per month. Again, I'm not a subject expert on this since I don't use it. Just only heard of others doing it before.

Process only take a couple of months...not 18. Crossbows are illegal. So are blow guns. Law states that you cannot have the gun/weapon within city limits. Nothing about owning it. I have heard of people who store their firearms in a storage place right outside of the city. I have an airgun up at my uncles place up in White Plains.
