  1. Lover transplant? I want to check out some of the parties you go to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hahaha! First time someone ever "butt" quoted me.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I actually miss my long commutes. It's crazy how even with the crowd and noise you can tune everything out and be in your own little world. I use to get so much leisure reading done. Or I would just put in my headphones, lean back, and nap. Now that I've cut my commute so much I hardly read as much as I use to. I enjoy the country but I rather enjoy spending 45 minutes with my eyes glued to a good book than 45 minutes with my eyes glued to the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Seriously. If you have to be surrounded by tall buildings, might as well be surrounded by decorative and expensive buildings as oppose to half empty, broken down, and dull buildings.
  5. For squirrel, only gear you need is a shooting instrument, warm clothes, skinning knife, and a hunting license.
  6. Welcome to the forum. What's SGF?
  7. 308 Remington Core Lokts in 150 grain. No special load needed for Northeast deer at under 100 yards with a 308.
  8. You can still go now. Season runs till end of Feb.
  9. I by several packs of the same exact socks whether I've lost a single sock or not, I don't really know nor does it matter. Problem solved.

I was one too for a quick moment. 'Till my wife came in and was wondering why I was wearing hers in front of the mirror.
  11. It's a preview of things to come.
  12. I never understood people who take antlers that they didn't kill themselves. It's like holding a football trophy but you never played. It's meaningless if you didn't take the buck.
  13. Rule is that it's not secure until you become a "runner" so I understand the pick. The TD is bullcrap because in the end zone, you're not going to "run". If that's the case, then how come they keep ruling those side line catches where the guy catches the ball, drags both feet, before falling out of bounds a completion?

  15. Sorry to hear. Best of luck out there.
  16. I've always thought you get something legalized by voting, friendly protests, and campaigning but I guess that's just me.
  17. Didn't realize the small game one came out already.
  18. Actually, I bought a watch specifically for the sunrise sunset rule. Prior to that, I had never worn a watch for almost 15 years. I use to use my phone but was afraid the light on my phone would give me away and one time my phone battery died so I couldn't tell if I was 5 minutes over or not. Does that mean if a giant doe walks by 5 minutes after, I wouldn't shoot? I don't know. I might. Hasn't happened yet. Maybe it hasn't happen since I start packing up once time is up so I never gave it a chance to happen. If that time comes I will face those demons then. I certainly won't brag about it. Yes, I would have gotten a deer but in my mind, I would have gotten it illegally.
  19. A cheating couple. Pickup truck parked in public land. Guy is decked out in camo gear. Car parked next to the truck (I'm assuming hers) and the lady in normal casual clothes on top of him lips locked. My guess is he told his wife he is going out hunting but in was really just having a rendezvous with mistress. Of course I could be all wrong. It could have been someone else car parked near by and this was simply a husband/wife hunting duo who decided to get a quick one in before their hunt. I decided not to knock on the window to confirm my suspicions. I just let them be.
  20. We've all broken some rules, sure. But I'm sure many of us sit at that moment and hash it out in our heads if we should or shouldn't. And I'm not just talking about hunting. If we eventually do decide to break the law after the moral battle in our heads, we probably feel guilty afterwards. Doesn't mean we don't cave to temptation. The difference is when there is no moral battle and there is no remorse. That's the attitude that some here are displaying.
