Read post #21 up on top.
But let me get this straight. You have one group claiming school shootings is a gun control issue. You have another group saving it's not a gun control issue but rather a mental health issue. And you guys are saying US has the best coverage in the world...in other words, you're saying mental health is not the issue. So what are you saying?
Sorry, that's what I meant. In other countries, people go in over the smallest of problems and that includes mental health. In the US, unless you have a top rate insurance or you're wealthy, you won't go in until the bone is sticking out.
22LR are hard to find but I haven't had trouble finding 17HMRs and I even see some 22WMRs around. At $12 to $15 for a box of 50 rounds, 17HMR is not a bad choice for plinking. I use the Savage 93R17 and love it.
In reference to the President's speech, when comparing US to other civilized countries, let's also point out that the US has the worst health care system amongst civilized countries.
I sent mine in last week. I called them to confirm the process. I asked the lady what the estimate turn-around time would be. She said that they are mindful of hunting season but military and law enforcement comes first so she can't guarantee me any thing. Looks like I'll be bow hunting only or using the muzzleloader this year.
Is there an increase in school shootings or does it seem to be more only because there is better media coverage? IF there are an increase in school shootings (and other mental health attacks) then is it purely coincidental that it is occurring under Obama's leadership?
What jerks! I would not stand for someone harassing my mother. I would make it so that they would think twice the next time. I hope things work out for you, Grizz.
This is awesome news for me! Now I can drop the wife off at the Woodbury Commons and "disappear" next door into Cabelas. Shorter drive than Gander Mountain which is becoming a dump.
