The problem is that we place police at a much higher standard that we do other when they are still in fact simply human beings like each and every one of us. For example, I know plenty of over weight nurses and medical students are the highest rate of smokers in the country. You would believe as a medical professional, they would know a thing or two about maintaining their health. The same can be said of law enforcers. Simply because they are law enforcers doesn't necessarily mean each and every one of them follows the law every time. It is because of this high standard that we place on them is why they make the news more often and thus it makes it seem like it occurs more often then the general populous. When I mentioned about the about the Starbucks girl who got kidnapped and killed last week, my fiance asked innocently what made that case such a high profile case? It is a valid point. Not to belittle her death but a hundreds of innocent women are raped and killed each year but the news only covers a hand full.

If I really need to, I could get the mouse. I just need to figure out how to explain all the holes in the walls to wifey.

I have one that has out smarted me to no end. He comes in through one side of the apartment and leaves through the other. I've laid out glue traps on both sides. 4 each side. I also laid out those snap traps and I bought those noise devices you plug into an outlet. This guys goes through all of that without a problem. Literally set 4 glue traps blocking his hole and he somehow jumps through them.

Come to the city. Cops here never stop at a red light. They treat red lights like stop signs.

I wear Oakley Asian Fit with polarized lens. Due to our low nose ridge and protruding temples, most glasses don't fit me well so I have to spend the extra money to buy the only one that does. Really limits my options as to what I can wear without sacrificing comfort. It's a bit crazy that there are over a billion of us and Oakley is the only company that realized that is a lot of customers they can sell to.

Good to know. I've been missing a lot and now I know why. With steel on a full choke my pattern must be real tight.

I use a Mossy 500 as well and I shoot strictly steel out of it. I am told that it does wear out the barrel quicker. How much? I don't know but I am just as curious of the input of the more experienced forum members.

I used full choke on pheasants. Most were head shots which s good but one I shot in the butt. The entire back half was completely ripped off. Luckily I was able to save the breast meat. I'll be using modified choke in the future.

Bunch of black squirrels in the Bronx. I cut through a park every morning on my way to work and see a few.

I hunt various spots throughout Putnam and Orange county. I try to change it up and hunt different areas but if the actions hot, I'll keep hitting that spot for a bit.

The scope gets attached to the barrel so it doesn't.

Been hitting these two spots I've scouted that had good deer signs. They're still there because when I go back after giving the areas a break, I'll find some fresh activity. Came real close on a several of occasions.

I ended up buying the CVA Wolf. Bought a box of 777 pellets, 209 primer, and bullets. Can't remember which brands. Simply asked the guy at the counter for his recommendations. I know the bullets are 50 cal - 250 grain with the plastic sleeves. Now I just need to find some time to take it to the range.
