  2. X2.I typically use a leafy suit during bow season for a little bit better blend in to the surroundings.extremely lightweight as its basically a screen material with the leafy stuff stitched to it
  3. 6 at 30yrds-top 6 at 20yrds-bottom
  4. First shot 27yrds.bang zoom! 6 shot group at 27yrds.need to keep shooting!two to the outside i felt myself pull away

  10. Wasnt sure where this one was headed.....have fun!
  11. Well said both you and grampy.have honestly noticed the difference in the past years the difference it makes hunting alone.yes i miss my hunting partners(family) n wouldnt trade it for anything but i do see alot more activity and movement in general. knowing im the only one in the woods.my movements and noise is the only noise in that section of woods(parcel i hunt).seems to make a big difference as it used to be 5 guys in stands to just me
  12. Still making it happen.letting it whined down.g/f went in already.enjoying hearing all the "peepers" and this jim beam
  13. This past season i had one sneak up without hearing it while i was checking the live from the woods thread!!!!!
  14. Working on #4.yummmm.goes down too easy
  15. X2.usually call dad up and let him know i may need some help.usually have the dragging part done by time parents/dad gets there n enjoy the rest of the kill with em.the last 2 years ive had to refresh him on how to gut a deer haha!
  16. Not something easy to shake,it seems!good size field to walk every morning i get out there.i usually walk 10-15 paces and stop to listen/scan the woods.grandfather always taught me that while walking(daytime normally).think that may help a little
  17. Not gunna lie either.gets a bit weird walking through field along hedgerow at 530am n birds etc start popping out in front of me.gets my ticker going!
  18. I love topwater fishing and thats heaven!!!
  19. Saeweeeeeet....They are all wall hangers on the property i hunt!!!
  20. Tis the part i miss about hunting with"the guys".meet up early at the house, have coffee n plan who's sitting where.ripping on em if they missed/the handshakes and smiles after a good hunt.prob why i get a hot mess in the woods after a kill.all the memories come back and in the end puts a smile on my face
  21. Almost all the time nowadays.uncle, great uncle and grandfather all passed on(my hunting partners).father tries to get out over the last 2 years on weekends so every once in a while he'll be in the woods with me.dont mind hunting alone though.the squirrels usually do a good enough job of keeping me on edge and not bored!
