Red dot versus scopes for deer hunting

Scope on my mossberg 12ga.never tried a red dot so falls into that "tradition" category.most of my shots are 60yards or less too -
Cant tell how big but i know theres antler in first pic

Only pic ive got from lastnight(ribs).had ribs,chicken/veggie kabobs,corn on cob and red potatos.all on hot coals at skybrook campground in dansville.camped fri night and sat night.back home now.prob nothing for dinner.between all the beer and food i ate,im still full!

Have been shooting alot more with the new house.was only shooting 4-5x last year before season.can grab target in garage,set it in the lawn and shoot a few times a week.its awesome!working on tightening my groups but the first shot is good. Need to buy a food saver,grinder and a good knife set as i plan on doing my own deer processing now.then ill be ready!!!!
