    Nothing wrong with a challenge,thats why we all hunt.grandfather used to always have his lever action marlin 22lr but always resorted to his 22 short pistol instead.

    Pork shoulder and pork butt on the smoker for 4 hrs now.planning on a cookout tomorrow, getting it done ahead of time.cousin sucking down beers with me after a nice morning of squirrel hunting!

    Took a half day today to start getting stuff in order.tomorrow off so i can chase some tree rat's n check stands/cam.5 days vacation left,will play it by weather.if i think its prime hunting weather and i feel that itch,i wont be in the next morning.did that a few years ago n missed a nice 8pt,go figure!!!!

    Cousin decided to stop by to shoot so pulled my bow out.last 4 shots at 25.last one was wayy left so called it for the night .had a few beers prior so figured i better quit before i break an expensive arrow!!!!not the best group but ill take it

    I deff dont have a huge # under my belt......have had them processed by my dads cousin right in caledonia,ny in a pinch due to weather/not having a place to do it.grew up learning how to do it as family had always done their own,never took em anywhere.we'd all get together at my great uncles garage with a small salamander heater n get to work.sence his and my grandfathers passing i used dads cousin up until i got my house with garage 2 years ago,back to cutting myself again
