  1. Yes, mag lock is a must, then use the Patriot Pin or just use one of the other types of pins available. I havent used the Patriot Pin yet, but it sure looks slick!
  2. I also have no objection to crossbow inclusion, but I know exactly why the "airbow" goes over the line for me. It isnt a bow, plain and simple. Bows have limbs and strings, guns of any type, do not. The "airbow" is an airgun. Now I have no issues with opening up airguns, but I do not feel that they belong in archery season, no matter what type of projectile they fire.
  3. Its an airgun. Bows have limbs and strings.
  4. Check out that Patriot Pin that chas posted, almost as fast of a reload as a regular AR. I know Ill be using one of those on my next build.
  5. Maybe he caught a whiff of Eau De Goats Ass and lost his concentration...
  6. Why go with one of those stocks, when you just go with a fixed mag system? They are darn near just as fast to reload, feel better to shoot than the weird stocks, and still look good. Ive shot a couple different "compliant" stocks as well as the thumb tab thingy, and none of them felt right.
  7. I might have used their stuff in the past, before my tragic boating accident of 2013
  8. Just get one of these and add all of the accessories you want while you tell Cuomo to go pound sand https://www.armaglock2.com/
  9. If you are buying, Id go with DPMS, Rock River or Stag. Or just build what you want. AllStar Tactical makes awesome Uppers and Lowers, both forged and billet, you just have to jump on them when they are in stock. If you are in the Rochester area, they are located right on Ridgeway Ave.
  10. Was that what they used to install the bed rug in your truck?
  11. If you see a guy with a man-bun and a beard on Naked And Afraid, you can put money on him tapping out before the woman does. They are always crunchy-granola hippy wanna be survivalists.
  12. Yep, Ive noticed that. There are some rules about what items you can bring. I dont believe you are allowed to bring insect repellent.
  13. Yep, full inclusion for everyone. Easy as it gets....
  14. For survival shows, I like Naked and Afraid. Honestly I could care less about the nudity, most of the people on there I dont want to see naked. Its a great premise and I know that its legit, my girlfriends niece is in the works to be on the show. My girlfriends brother lives in Oklahoma and has a decent chunk of land. He tried to do it on his own on his land and lasted 2 days before he was tired of the insect bites and said the hell with it lol. I think his daughter wants to show him she can do something he cant lol.
  15. Im not sure offhand what the price difference is. It would be nice, but its no big deal to me.
  16. They only make one engine for the Viking, its a fuel injected 700 single cylinder. Mine is the non-power steering model.
  17. Shes a worker alright. Here it is with I think an 8 foot harrow working plots a couple of years ago
  18. Its a Yamaha Viking. Ive pulled a 6 foot double row disc with it before, also a 8 or 10 foot drag harrow set as deep as it would go in soft, plowed up dirt as well as a 16 foot cultipacker. It will do the job with the differential lock on and a cool down period or two if its hot out.
  19. Id say Tennessee or South Carolina, maybe North Georgia. I dont want to get into swamps.
  20. Im looking for some ATV sized equipment for food plots at my new place. The ground is too rocky for a tiller and Id rather not tear up the trails as much with a tractor, so I plan on doing everything with my ATV. I am already all set with a spreader and sprayer. I would like to find a 6-8 foot 2 row disc and a 6-10 foot cultipacker or roller. Let me know what you have.
  21. If things came to a point where there was no longer electricity, etc I would be heading south first and foremost. I would not be wanting to deal with cold and snow like we get here in NY. I think I could survive for a while, but it would be better to try and have a group, as doing everything on your own would be incredibly tough. Gathering water, hunting and fishing for meat, youd have to have a garden of some sort, maintaining shelter, etc.
