had a black one in front of my stand at 20 yards multiple times the other day.I only had three rage BH's in my quiver.It only holds three.Need a better quiver that hold 6 so i can put some small game arrow in it.

i can't wait it out.I usually have my phone blowing up from someone needing picked up or to take someone somewhere. I have barked like a dog before.It sends them running.They will come back.

if you are alone and don't have a weapon it shouldn't be considered hunting.Since this could be scouting or just plain hiking or nature watching.If you Don't have a weapon and are aiding in someone to hunt then ye it is hunting.If you are pushing deer or being there to change a deers walking pattern or even sitting in a tree and talking on the radio to another hunting partner telling them if you spotted one then all that is considered hunting.

he turned 12 today;Took him salmon fishing.Shoulda went hunting.LOLDidn't catch nothing.Too windy to hunt any way.Going to get him out of school early tomorow and surprise him with an afternoon hunt. Good luck by the way moose.Good luck making the time to get out.LOL.No matter how hard i try to make hunting the "priority" i always get over run by something or someone else.LOL.

i wash my clothes in baking soda.I chew wiggleys spearment gum.They might be alarmed at a new smell but not as alarmed as your rank human stink. Cover scents don't do anything whatsoever besides make you feel better.Deer can pick out the human smell out of alll the scents you can throw at it.Their noses are 50 times stronger than a bloodhounds.Bloodhounds can pick out any scent they are trained to out of a thousand other scents.

i like to do the fawn bleat this time of year.One year had a doe come out crashing out of the swamp to find that little fawn.She would not stop.Grunting all around my stand till she cought my scent.Never worked again after that.

i hear ya.If i wasn't out of work i wouldn't be able to get in the woods at all.Soccer,football,birthdays,chores,and so on.Atleast the sports are over as of today for me too.Supposed to go salmon fishing tomorow so there goes hunting tomorow.My 12 yr old wants to go salmon fishing instead of hunting for his first time.

I never said they didn't appreciate what they earned.Or aren't thankfull for what they harvested.But we hunt out of sport not survival.Things have changed.And i think some people have to try to make them selves feel better by telling them selves they are being more "respectfull" to the animial after they kill it.Not stereotyping other fellow hunters.Just don;t think someone should say its disrespectful to hang it by the neck but then they stand over top if it gloating and sharing pics of it.They are disrespecting it too.

once again.Innocent until proven guilty.The neighbor was robbed with a knife.Since i own a knife i robbed him?Without the evidence it is just a guy accusing a suspect without evidence!!!!!A dead deer is evidence.Plain and simple.Without a dead anything you have a dead court case.

taking pictures of a deer with you over top of it holding its horns is disrespectful to the animal too.Just saying.....Then Indians at least prayed for it after they killed it.Didn't high five their buddies and get drunk afterwords.They celebrated the harvest cause it was a gift.Something they needed to survive. So no one is better than the next in 2012.We all disrespect the animal.lets get the panties out of their wads.

LIke wnybowhunter said.Give me the ticket.Without evidence i am inocent until proven guilty.I have set my bow up for hunting cyotes at night using a red light on my stabilizer.Red head lamp and lighted sights.I could easily hit a cyote with this setup.Have practiced many times since they got so bad behind the house.I could legaly set my bow up on the way out for this.and if an ECO gave me a ticket.well i would take it to court.Without a dead deer i was not breaking the law.Since in fact i was hunting legaly.For furbearrers.
