ill say this smallmouth out of river are good to eat, but from say oneida not so good and the big eyes 3lbs or bigger from river aint very tasty compared to a 15-17 in from oneida

i saw a guy on you tube spray seed with gly and it effected germination but he soaked the seed with it way more then any normal seed would get in normal spraying he actually got it damp enough to cause germination, imo normal gyl spraying does not effect seed enough to say so

WI oats is has some good drawing property ive planted both rye and the oats labor day and oats was favored alot more,,, i fill in any bare spots in my brassica plantings, planted 8/5, with the oats and will do a very light over seed with the oats in remaining brassica plots, ive never planted both same time normally they go in a month apart,, that way oats/rye dosnt compete with brassicas,

you can get some rye grain and to save the plots still plenty of time for rye

ok autum quick plot by frigid forage might be option, also WI oats is a good choice, ur a getting late for a straight brassica mix u want 45- 60 days before 1st frost with brassica, rye GRAIN is also option seed to soil contact is very important, if it was a hay field and starting this late i would skip spraying just tear the ground up best you can,,,, fertilizer and lime is guessing at this point but i would hit with fertilizer 200 to 400 lb acre of some 15-15-15, and do soil sample next spring and go from there... rye should put in labor day same with oat ,,,,brassicas now like yesterday

well just checked my plots that i seeded on the 5th overall looks like good germination had one area that is new this year not really take im guessing that the grass and duff had not broke down to get good soil contact, and there has been little rain at camp since seeding, so threw seed on that and with the rain coming should correct that issue,,,,

yeah i find it hard not to over seeds the seeds are so small u cant see them on the ground and in my head im always thinking not enough but the plants get big quick and its better to be a little thin then over seed

sugar beets needed to be planted in mid may early june to get any size bulb on them they take way longer to grow then turnips or radish
