  1. Ya, the family part complicates things. Saying something to you sister or niece isn't going anywhere. Your niece is going to shrug it off and nothing will change. If it was me, and I didn't say anything to the authorities and someone else gets seriously injured, I'd feel partially responsible. Don't go to CPS route. That's just going to create some serious family turmoil. Animal control, or local police would be your best bet.
  2. As long as you hunt from telephone poles. My luck the throttle would stick, or the brake would fail.
  3. Really, your comparing race cars and pulling tractors that are highly modified to a normal farm tractor? Well, if that's the case, then why do tractor trailers ,aka, " tractors" that pull 80k plus are using automatic transmissions more and more. And don't give me the bull about there being less people that know how to drive a standard. Drove trucks for too long to fall for that BS.
  4. Not quite. 15 yrs ago manual tranny's were still available and popular. I chose to switch to autos back then. Up till 2019, you could still get a manual transmission in a Ram.
  5. Need to get me some of those rock blades. BTW, this is a lawn mower.
  6. Ok, NOW I'm hungry. Nice looking plate.
  7. It's the same with trucks. I only bought manual transmission trucks for yrs. Hated autos. Useless POS, lol. Well, now there's no manual transmission available in trucks at all. My first auto, car or truck was only 15 yrs ago. I still to this day lift my left foot when coming to a stoplight. Lol. Doesn't mean autos are "lawn mowers" now does it? Same with tractors.
  8. If I've got a thicker slap, I'll stick with the 3-2-1. Thinner, I adjust according.
  9. Geared tractor. If it was a hydro tractor he wouldn't have gotten stuck.
  10. I like your "lawn mower"... Bet some are surprised it handled a tree that size too. Lol
  11. Radial= geared Bias= lawn mower.
  12. I've got a 5th wheel camper that weighs almost 11k empty. The pin weight is 2300#. Plus I tow equipment around frequently. As soon as we retire in about 5 yrs, everything will be sold, and moving south to Tennessee. Then I can get a smaller truck.
  13. Lol. Not pulling the space shuttle. If it's a serious question, because it can't come close to towing and payload as the 3500-350's.
  14. I've had 2 Ram 3500 SEW CC. 6.4 hemi. Love the trucks. But if I bought a third, it just wouldn't "feel" like a new truck. I needed a change. My choices were obviously, Chevy or ford. The 6.0 Chevy is underpowered. The new 6.6 GM gasser has some impressive numbers, better then the 6.4 hemi, but it's a new platform, just released, and I'm very hesitant to buy a unproven platform. So, that left ford.... F350 SRW SCLB. 6.2.
  15. Nope. No loader on that one, and I don't have a mid pto, so no deck. Again, It's a tractor, not a mower. Besides, I'm not as good looking as she is.
  16. Both. I keep the R4's on most of the time as I do a lot of work on clients properties which inevitably takes me over their lawns frequently. It's a PITA swapping tires, especially loaded, but it's cheaper than two tractors.
  17. Of course. It's not a tractor without loaded rears, lol.
  18. I haven't seen one in probably 10 yrs in my area. Used to be loaded with them
  19. No mower deck. It's not a lawn mower, it's a tractor. I've skidded many logs with it. Maybe I just know how to use a tractor. I could teach you sometime.
  20. I'm sorry, but a compact tractor like my JD 3320 is far from a " lawn mower". Think you need to educate yourself on hydro tractors. NOT lawn mowers
  21. Yes, I do landscape, mowing for a living. My Z turns a a hydro. Totally different critter. Please don't compare a mower with a tractor.
  22. Your comparing a lawn mower to a tractor??? I've skidded logs, hauled buckets full of stone on a side hill and NEVER had to touch my brakes. It just doesn't work like your saying.
  23. Ya, ok. Guess on the same note, you've never used a hydro tractor. And yes, I've got plenty of hrs on both. Actually a LOT more on a 8n then my hydros. Sounds like someone doesn't quite know how to work a hydro...
