  1. I was wondering how it was to hunt the "swamp".I was afraid it was too wet to get in there from arial photo. That is concidered SZ I believe? That's about 20 min below the cabin.
  2. Good thread. Nice location for a camp Doc.Here's a few from mine. scans here with the furniture redone in Real Tree camo.
  3. Tehehehe...good one. It is sad to see all the complete bodies though.
  4. 1 place I found (online) that has 22 is here...http://www.ammunitionstore.com/categories/rimfire-ammunition/22-lr.html seems a little pricey,but.....
  5. The birds are cool, always bother me when hunting, but they are fun to watch.Sometimes they are ALL you see in a day of hunting. Great pics as always!
  6. 2 cups Bisquick 1/3 C lowfat sour cream 1 egg 1/4 C milk 1C blueberries 2/3 C white sugar 1/2 C brown sugar 1/3 C flour 3 TBS melted butter Preheat oven to 400F This is a 3 part batter mix- do each seperate: First Part: Take sour cream egg and milk together and mix with a fork until moist. Topping is sugar, brown sugar, flour and melted butter mixed well with a fork, crumbly is fine as long as it's mixed ok. Take the first part and mix with Bisquick until moist with fork,no blender a rough mix is fine. In an 8x8x2 greased glass dish layer half the batter, half the topping, and half the berries. Then repeat that again on top of that. Bake for 25min until done...which may vary, check with a toothe pick. She had to go about 5min more.
  7. Feast your eyes on this creation! Berries picked from our property in NY. I know what's for breakfast!
  8. Real nice color on her. Hope you don't mind me turning them a little
  9. I have been noticing also that every stinkin time I see something to do with this on TV, the gun dealers and shops call these assault rifles. On the news tonight, they were talking to people(sellers) down at the Bloomsburg gun show and first thing it was called was an assault rifle.
  10. In 1982 I was issued and qualified with the Colt AR-15 selective fire capable. They came out in 1960 as a semi auto, but the M-16A1 just after that was selective fire from factory.I am not sure as to why,the AR-15 we were issued were selective fire, but they were.I'm thinking that maybe somewhere along the line, they were converted for training purposes or rebuilt for some reason. All I can do is speculate though. Some guys had M-16's and others AR-15's.They were identicle to look at but marked accordingly.
  11. I don't doubt that 1 bit as we have seen this time and time again.
  12. Seems there is some dissention going on? I would think that BHO would be going nuts on the VP at this time. http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/24/16682888-biden-downplays-assault-weapons-ban-emphasizes-background-checks-and-magazine-restrictions
  13. Most if not all UPS stores will not ship ammo unless they have the license to do so.I have always had to go to the UPS main shipping hub or the main hub for Fedex like in an industial park.I would call ahead before wasteing gas.
  14. DO NOT EVER ship or try to ship loaded rounds, powder or primers, via USPS it is a felony. They DO ship firearms, unloaded ofcourse.I have done it,it is legal. You can NOT have any markings on the outside of the shipping container that states it is a firearm.
  15. There's a Gander Mt too, they seem to have quite a bit of ammo...on the website anyway. EDIT: And a PITA construction area right there.
  16. Tire tube would be fine,as long as you don't use it to shoot,as anything putting pressure on the bbl will affect your accuracy.I sure your aware of that though.
  17. Looks real good! Will look even better on your wall instead of pegboard! I like the pose.
  18. Interesting idea.My thoughts on the yellow U hook. What would be nice with that,is if the small block of wood it is screwed into, was adjustable forward and back for the reason Lawdwaz stated. The long board under it would have to be slotted or holes drilled every 2" for example,so you could adjust it for different length rifles.Let us know what you end up with, good winter project.
  19. Wondering why I am not allowed to start a new topic here? And why I am not allowed to use the contact form? I would post a screen shot but i'm not allowed?
