  1. I'll be adding another very pretty forum member mount to that other thread soon...
  2. I can see less ticks in my future taxidermy endeavors...
  3. Always love your stories. Congrats on tagging out in another state too. You truely are the man when it comes to killing gobblers!
  4. A couple of Joe Coombs wall ped mounts eventually...
  5. Not live...but I helped my dad seal the deal this morning on a late season limbhanger. He never gobbled on the roost but the hunt was over by 5:45. He's tagged out and I have a babysitter now!
  6. Yep...4 longbeards headed to the plowed cornfield behind the picture taker.
  7. He looks good up there. Thanks again!
  8. These two are headed home to my most prolific customer...aka Moog!
  9. I went the Revolution route for my own buck from this past season. The form was $90 for the wall pedestal and an additional $60 to ship a single form which is absolutely ridiculous!!!
  10. Nothing really. As stated earlier, we are the number one county in the state in terms of numbers of bucks entered into the state records books and overall deer/buck take annually (also a very large county). We just have enough cover and crops that allows some of our bucks to make it to maturity and record book size. Honestly, other counties here in Region 8 (especially north of Steuben) has much more fertile ground, the deer have much better food quality and potential to produce bigger bucks on average than my area of the county does.
  11. Forms from Ohio Taxidermy Supply are my go to and what I use for the majority of my mounts. I also like Matuska forms as well.
  12. He was one of 8 bucks chasing a hot doe back on November 6th. I guess 2-3 of the others in the mix were shooters too. My friend's dad drilled him as he passed direcly underneath his stand.
  13. Ain't no stinking Joe Combs form either...
  14. His left side shed from the previous year was a big 4pt side. Idk about the right?
  15. Just put the finishing touches on this awesome 171" Yates County bowkill. He's not wide but makes up for it with mass and tinelength!!
  16. Possibly my last shed hunting venture of the spring...#24. I actually hit this buck with my bow in early October.
  17. Yours will be added on this thread shortly...
  18. Maybe, I'll be doing one of yours this coming season!!!
  19. It's been awhile. Forum member's stepson's Steuben County archery buck...
  20. Hit 20 this morning. Was walking up on this side by side set and almost stepped on a third one. You can see all 3 in the first pic...
  21. I walked for 3 hours trying to match up that big one this morning. No luck but I did find a half of another three year old that I recognize...#16
  22. Two more yest. Not a set but both laying within sight of one another...
