    Nope. All I know is that the deer was taken to a taxidermist in the Albany area (guy who tans my hides does the other guy's too...he sent me the dead pic).

    Eats up all my free time. It's pretty tough to keep up with mounting deer with a 3 year old and a one year old at home.

    My best shed hunting find to date was a 170" deadhead. It'll be a tough one to top for this state...

    Got this one mounted a few days ago. Initially, I wasn't sure about the decision to keep the nose this way but it turned out pretty cool. Can't really see in these pics but I built the nose bones in with apoxie. The rest of the cape was as beat up as the nose between battle scars and tick damage. I'll add a few more pics once the finish work is done in a couple of weeks.

    Pulled my cams down for the season yesterday and discovered that my #2 most wanted set of antlers has hit the ground. They're buried out there somewhere... Most of the little guys along with my top up and comer are still packing...

    I honestly wasn't even looking for sheds at the time...but I caught this with that Sixth Sense peripheral vision I have for deer antlers as I was driving by. Shed#2 = hometown roadshed. I'll take it!
