sbuff replied to 2012_taco's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
Any pitting in breach or bore ? -
What’s everyone buying this year

Another vote for rigid here

Hands down black ice out of Spanish forks Utah. Couple muzzle loaders done by them. No sign of wear what so ever. HTTP://Blackicecoatings.com/

Hand Loading 12 ga sabot slugs
sbuff replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
A modern inline would meet all your goals too if you desired. Bullets and sabots are cheap when bought separately. Very interested in your progression -
You should be able to get 300+ if in fine shape, myself and many of the dirty white boys, dwb are on MML. That gun will out last anything bought today, if it were me I'd keep it. My white thunderbolt and S91-11 will never be sold. I've spoken to Doc several times, you could try reaching out to him to and see if he's interested in buying it .

He reminds me of a young Steph Curry..can't wait for March Madness

That stinks I've been there myself, I've got nothing bad to say about it.

Well Santa got me a new camera , a wild game innovations vision 14 lights-out extreme . Now I will be the first to admit my dislike for that brand but this thing has impressed me. It's taken over 3K pics since the day after Christmas and it just dropped down one battery level. Day pics are crisp and clear and night pics are very visible too. For the 80 bucks with battery and 8gig card the wife did good. I only question it's longevity at this point. If it last a year I might consider another over browning and spy point. Steve

Just curious if I registered/RE certified existing pistols in October and will be getting a new one in January does that said pistol need to be RE certified by end of this month's?
-
I see that got improved with the S version with striker fire
-
It was as easy as bringing in a sportsman guide email that had a ruger LC9s on sale for 245.00. Field and Stream had it on sale for 369.00 . They matched the 245 price no questions asked, wow is all I can say. Anyone got one ?
-
I leave mine out all year at camp. I put fresh battery's in them the last day of northern zone . With the lake effect tug hill got this week they may be under snow. I've got two spy point force 11d and two browning strike force, one being the pro version out there. Hoping battery last to April as they typically do.

Run it all year ,that's my thought on trail cams. Good luck with it.

Wow very said.....god bless to his family and deer hunting family
-
I haven't seen it in stores yet, but I'm keeping eyes open

Has any one brought in a cheaper sale price to field and stream , dicks. Is it as easy as that ? I just got a sale flyer for a ruger LC9s that is a 100 bucks cheaper then there current listed sale price..

Not a song but a poem. We listen to it every year .

First I don't know hunterman at all. Second, if you read the top I stated I was and have been looking for one. Third my only dislike is savages vent liner design. Fourth if you own one good for you, enjoy it .

Take a chill pill GJS, a member posted what he thought was important. Unless your the grandchild of Henry Ball you should take no offence. I'll listen to what ever anyone has to say about safety. We can probably end this thread unless you want us to waste more time reading your posts. Steve

Do you grease the auger every other year, that would explain why it's fused ,rusted in there
-
Soak it in a 50/50 water /Windex mix and you'll be good to go. T7 is water soluble. Bh209 is great but expensive compared to T7. Some cva require a bh209 specific plug .
-
It's odd the photos are from 2009, I'm willing to bet a double charge . It doesn't deter me from looking for one. Thats is why I can't stress , witness marks on all ram rods.
-
Care to share the article link I myself am looking for one at the right price, many shoot this with no issues at all.

I don't believe the new Remington muzzloader is safe for 200gr of BH209 as its designed for pellets, may I ask where that was found ? Perhaps I'm wrong. Let's all just be safe as the late season ML is approaching.
