Took down stands today in my 6S spot . No hunting there anymore so it's all on 7F this year. Sucks but it is what it is. But I am looking forward to concentrating on 7F and filling a tag there and thankful I have that. And of course while I am headed out to take one of them down a big Tom was crossing the field. Go figure.

That sucks Dan , hope you bag one. Just numbers way down out your way? I've only been twice, not really into it this year as I lost my best turkey spot. But didn't hear a gobble and that didn't get me enthusiastic to go much again.

My hole house is a mancave but I have a hunt/fish room and have been wanting to take an old tree stand and make it into a seat in there. Your spot seems like it's really coming together. Gotta do pics when your done.

My shot patience. Now that ammo is pretty much unavailable and worth more than insulin, i tend to take my time more before squeezing the trigger on that deer!

And really if the same formula that was used in the 90s and early 2000s were applied to today's numbers the rate is closer to 8%.

Boats are in short supply this year. I got lucky buying one last year. The boat show in Sylvan beach this year had ONE boat. crazy. Everything sold out everywhere. Guy from Oneida lake marine has no inventory and has people that have a trade in waiting to order boats and he has deposits on the trade ins they are still using. Lack of production, materials and high demand. Another product that will need to catch up and will take prob 2-3 years of production to do it. Fishing on the lake has gotten better since January.

Why can't we just put Frontline down our backs or take a pill like the dog? Not scared of bears, coyotes or squatches in the woods, but tiny little ticks- you bet.

Usually a little tough this time of year. Should be picking up from here on out thru July. Most guys coming off the lake saying about the same.

Another couple and some perch. Had 3 more perch, but wasn't keeping any til I got a walleye to clean. Never had a hit the first hour. Fish on the graph in 29 fow but no hits. Then tried 38 ft, nothing, 32, nothing, 27 a couple perch. Almost ready to bag it and got a short. Kept fishing and got to 21 ft. Got 3 shorts, 2 keepers, had one cut me off and 4 perch in about an hour. But time to go and that was good enough.

Had a cocker spaniel for 18 years he was a great dog. Looks like a fine pup. Have fun

Was a grind again today. Thought for sure this morn when I hit the water it's was gonna be a limit in an hour day. Got a couple , a few shorts, kept getting hits but they weren't really taking it well. Still great to be on the water.

Went to Lowe's today (came home on lunch and my fridge is on the fritz) and was just surprised that almost everyone was wearing a mask. It really surprised me esp there but easily 80/20 wearing them.
