  1. Awesome there ya go! Looks like you were running planers and stickbaits?
  2. Vegan restaurants?? If i had one i would name it "Field of Dreams. Is a buffet like a field of corn, a field of beans and assorted brushlines?
  3. it sure is. All those boats in there and no wait at all. the fish cleaning station is amazing. I pay $150 a year for unlimited launches and its good for 2 different Marinas. So its not a bad deal.
  4. i am guessing if public comment is open til Aug 8th that this season will remain the same.
  5. cool - thanks Jerry - I was on the DEC site but couldnt find the update just the plan. I was hoping the early season was going to include 7J as i have a stand in a spot out there that would work out great for that. Nothing mentioned on the xbow though.....
  6. anyone hear any whispers on the whitetail plan ? Did it die from CWD - Chronic Wastingtime Democrats??? Havent heard anything if it was even brought to a vote.
  7. last weekend after 10:30-11;00 the launches were a mess on Oneida. There is one I go to that isnt too bad but its real shallow for larger boats and is mostly fisherman. But the launch in town was crazy busy with jet boats, pontoon boats in the afternoon. Our saying here is "Fisherman off the lake by 10:30" . cause it gets so busy and honestly not only the launch but boat traffic, jet skis etc. I generally launch at first light and off by 10:30 then the second shift of speed boaters and jet skis can have the lake. But thats for an old fisherman that gets up early anyway. If pleasure boaters go out later theres no real way to miss it all unless you have a boat dock/private launch of your own. I dont enjoy the afternoon fishing except in early or late season or on weekdays before July 4th. although sitting at the launch could be entertaining. lol
  8. Hope its a great day. Weather is perfect hope you get to enjoy it . @Cory
  9. I seem to remember this prediction......lol Fixed it for you.
  10. lol, not sure thats a ringing endorsement.
  11. who really knows. For a while it was only one child. But i guess they need a larger workforce these days. Either way its messed up
  12. they just changed the mandate on having children and upped it to three. I dont think they did it intentionally, although i wouldnt rule it out for sure, but i can for sure believe it couldve gotten out and they covered it up. I think thats the most likely.
  13. very cool. Ive never gotten a big one ive seen on camera. Best on cam was a 6. nick buck!
  14. GF works at a school and she is on countdown! So I get the update every day. Lol She has a campsite rented for the next two months .
  15. It's not changing. Can only go maskless outside. This won't change by end of school this year. Only 12 days left
  16. Can try Mad river sports mfg. on facebook or call 315-697-9768 I talk to this guy all the time at the post office about trout fishing when he is sending out orders. Does a lot of graphics for lure tapes etc. might be able to help out.
  17. Made some sausage bread. Smoked sausage, peppers, cheese.
  18. Should have Swiss chard to pick this weekend. Cool weather early crops not liking this early heat I think. Onions are still slow and no pods on peas yet. Tomatoes are doing great
  19. dunno if it will help for hunting but its worth it just to have a cam on it and see all the critters.
  20. ive fished lake pleasant a bunch of times that is right across the rd and connected as bolt action said above but never in the Sacadaga itself, there but would guess some of the same species. Ive caught a ton of nice smallmout in there along the islands. Throw spinners baits or senkos or shallow crankbaits. Ive also caught a few walleye out of Pleasant. Not a lot but a few on worm harnesses. There was a boulder area in 19ft of water between the little marina/launch and the island that you see as soon as you launch. Also my former BIL used to fish out there for browns and rainbows using corn on floating jigheads with a sinker ahead of it about 24". good luck let us knwo how you do.
  21. Whitetail Heaven i bet. They have a big outfitter business in KY and a couple border states. I once looked up some outfitter info on them.
  22. Wowza! Looks like you had to give up Montana for Iowa! Nice bucks Moog. That first one made me pee a little.
  23. Great weekend fishing with a great group of folks. Had the honor of fishing with a bunch from this forum. @Pygmy @Lawdwaz @Otto @Lomax all had a run out in my boat. And all from a invite from a camping trip that @The_Real_TCIII was on. Thanks much for the invite Tacks. Was a great time. Didn't get to fish in the boat with you but congrats on the scholarship and putting the feud with Charlie to rest. Great weekend and even a special guest appearance from @Steuben Jerry Not a boat load of fish caught but a few were managed and I believe Otto has the current largest fish to date in the new boat with a big cat. Was hoping for at least one day of boat limits but fun all the same. Great time guys , thanks and look forward to fishing with you all again.
