    It was funny I walked by acouple of guys on way in and said good morn. 20 minutes later walking out with a net full of eyes. They were like WTH.... Hit em just right. Just cant seem to hit the deer like that.

    Make the most of a day off. Walleye limit in 18 minutes. Lol. 12 casts and lost 2. Now on to a deer!

    That's awesome. Hey buddy @FISHDO He will love that. He just loves bears. Lol. And we are hunting there tomorrow. I would love to see a bear . I think I might get up real early and make a couple of casts off the wall before hunting. Afternoon is looking like a wash out .

    Hunt #21- 7F lease swamp stand. 8+ hours in a stand today and never saw a deer. Wind was switching in all different directions until about 4:30. Did send one this afternoon though. Shot at a turkey and hit just under him . Aimed for 30 and he was 33-34. 6 turkeys came in up trail so at least some action.

    Back out. Not a breath of wind. Been a weird wind day. It is so still now. Forecast is for SW wind. But back in swamp stand cause I am stubborn. Put in a good long sit. Tomorrow looks like 1/2 with rain in the pm.

    My xBIL shot a buck one time and it went right down. Went over to the buck and couldn't figure where he hit it. Buck jumps up and he shoots it and it goes down. Looks over buck and he had hit it in the horns and knocked it out. Even found the broken piece of horn.

    Your team retrieval on that buck was like CSI Buffalo with that group you had there. And Biz was the guy in the chair.

    Hunt #20- 7F lease scrapetree stand. Light to 10. Was a nice light S wind, then at 9:30 switched to a stronger W wind which knocks me out of there. Any wind is ok there except a W. Didn't see a thing.

    Hunt #19- 7F lease swamp stand. 4:30-to dark. Saw nothing. This stand has got me puzzled. Have a ton of doe pics here in the afternoons but haven't seen a one from the stand. Saw one on the way in once. But at least 3 nights a week does all over it before dark. Just haven't hit it right yet. 4 days off so hoping to connect.

    Funny you say that. Had a wood duck at 20 yards. Big pond about 200 yards behind me def had some quackers on it.

    ive got a 13.5 lb on the wall - with a hook jaw from Ontario. But my favorite brown mount is a 24" with an awesome hook jaw I got out of a local pond. That one Chris caught has some nice colors to it
