i have the thunder hawk and man is it a shooter. I use muzzy broadheads. Didnt even know they had their own broad heads. I have a buddy that has a tornado and loves it. We both stocked up on the red hot bolts and nocks.

yup. Sucks they went out of business - i love my xbow! bought 3 packs of bolts while they were going out of business to last me. Guessing you have one too?

Yes I have a few times. And once this year I left cause it was so humid and mosquitoes were terrible. And of course 4 does on cam at that stand an hour later. Go figure.

Love lighted nocks. Have them on compound and xbow. Xbow has capture nocks so had to order spec for those. Haven't seen a difference in flight using them at all.

most of those rubber boots just kill my feet. I have some muck boots and dont really wear them but these interest me - thanks will check em out

that is what usually happens to me as well. The minute season ends they walk all over me. Although last season that might have saved me. Had 7 within 15 yards and they wandered off and shot my buck right after.

i have 3 sets of hunting clothes (at least) i rotate for hunting - generally dont go more than 2 days with anything before its washed in no scent soap and hung out in the shed. In between hunts for those two days i "nuke em" in the ozone bag. And yeah I know some guys say they do no scent control in the stand and it doesnt matter they get a deer. But just think how many more they might see if they did? I like to think its one more thing in my favor when it comes to a whitetails nose. And i am not hunting where the deer are as many as stars in the sky. So the better chance i have with a little scent elimination the better. I like to take any advantage i can get within reason with very little more effort. But i also know in the two main places i hunt i am generally the guy that drags one out each year. I think the biggest advantage in hunting is always location - but when your locations are mostly set i like to try to up the other odds in my favor. When your talking about buying an ozone bag vs putting in food plots, stands, water sources, more land, and hunting equipment, the price is minimal for the return.

I also shoot 777 pellets and powerbelts. If you do figure out would love to know in case it happens to me . I have thought about changing but I just can't cause at 100 the gun is dead bull every time. Prob my most accurate gun at 100 all the time. But..... After each shot it drops 2", then 4" until it is cleaned. But with muzzle if the first is dead on and second is 2" low I am good with that. But haven't had the problem you mentioned with the same load.

i have 4 days off and they cant come soon enough. Th-Sun. Biz like prediction 25th or 27th one falls. (for some reason have shot a lot of deer on the 25th and 27th wind looks right for 2 of my favorite spots) But will also be out Wed after work to a close stand.

was checking this out as i would shoot a turkey with bow while deer hunting - thought it was good info to pass along.

Congrats Fletch and damn fine shooting. Was expecting to read story and it be from "the Hole" but a buck from a new spot on state land - nice job.

I use one. I generally use it in between the am and pm hunt. I think it certainly helps some. Hard to know for sure of course. But between scent free wash, hanging clothes in an outside shed and using scent bag I don't seem to get winded often. Me and a buddy hunt the same lease and I generally see a lot more deer than he does. For all the expense of hunting and equipment one of the ozone bags isn't that much. I have the scent crusher ozone bag. I haven't had too many issues with the elastic. One pair of long underwear the waist band got messed up after a full season. The rest was fine. I don't run my boots in it though.

When I was a kid and tagging along with my Dad and uncle hunting in Lewis county, saw a guy coming out of a back dirt road and we had to talk to him. Young guy with a little car on sand dirt road with a deer on the roof and a bear on the trunk. Lol. It was awesome. He shot a 4 point and was cleaning it and heard brush breaking and looked up and there was a bear. We asked if he wanted help and we followed him out to the main road to be sure he made it ok. He was all smiles for sure.

Yeah looking like a wash out tomorrow. But the silver lining is I am working. But off on Thursday and Friday and looks like a temp drop into Friday. Kicking myself a little for not fishing Tonite it's beautiful out right now. But by the time I get out of work and on the water it gets dark quick. And I am not a fan of night boating. Guys are tearing the fish after dark at the canal. Damn 4am alarm. Work gets in the way of my hunt/fish time, it's annoying. Lol.

Def. I didnt have either of these guys on cam til this last week. Unfortunately though I'm missing the bigger ones. Hoping they get rutty and come back this weekend. Wait you live nearby....are you stealing my big bucks? Lol. Hope you've been out fishing , I hear nothing but walleye limits and buckets of perch. Out in front of Marion manor Sunday there must've been 20 boats all off that 14-25 ft area towards Lewis pt and I am guessing pounding the perch. I should be fishing some but the pull of the deer season is just too much.

this area it seems to be about $14 an acre - but think there is prob a wide range pending location.

you cant go wrong with any of those days. First seventeen days of Nov , i am working 4 of them.

awesome weekend and sure is why we are up and out there. I just had a three day weekend and am strongly thinking about hunting tonite after work !

3 point I passed on Sun and a pic of an odd 5. Havent seen the high 6 or 8 on cam in 10 days .

Hunt #18- on lease 7F swamp stand. 3-dark. Didn't see a thing, seemed like anything could step out at anytime.pulled cam card and deer there last evening of course. Can't seem to coordinate with these does.
