    better look at this fella - I hunted this property that morning - date was 10/25 just missed em. Had him on two different cams that afternoon . looks like a 10 point. Have a smaller 8 that is on every camera and all different times of day and havent run into him yet . Its like hes patrolling the property (last two pics are oct not sept)

    Didn't see a thing this morn so a late season stand move . If there was a tree actually in the corn I would've put it there. Hitting this hard this weekend. A bitch to get into quiet but gonna try.

    Getting ready to head out soon. This weekend and next week look like gun season temps. I don't see us getting an Indian summer this year.

    For burger I add 3 lbs of bacon ends and pieces to 10 lbs of ground venison. For sausage I add 6lbs venison to 4 lbs of ground pork.

    Sat this eve in that Greenfield edge. Two came out right at dark and too far out. Pinned there til real dark and scooted out. Deer are just hanging in the corn til dark. Couple times now have had them come out but too late. If anyone is stressed out I could use someone to run screaming thru the corn tomorrow. Lol. Might make you feel better and I will throw some steaks your way.

    4 hours in stand this morn not a thing. A stand that for last two years has been one of my best. Last 3 sits not a deer. Off to same area and different stand though, putting boat in storage first. Good thing it was a good fishing year so I have some eyes in the freezer.

    That's great! He was probably embarrassed he did that and prob realized it and knows now its time to move on . Good for you I used to hunt a piece of land my family hunted for years. Then one day I was in college and got out one day all season to hunt. A guy came up to me and asked if I was one of the guys that has hunted here a long time. Told him I was and he explained to me that him and 5 of his buddies bought out the farm for hunting. He said to hunt there this year but next season it would be posted. He even asked if I had a doe permit and was gonna sign one over if I wanted. I told him I understand and wished I was able to do the same thing. Seemed like a real nice fella. Glad it worked out so well.

    Hope more of the leaves are off up there than here. I've been hoping they fall more soon before we get a heavy snow or an ice storm.
