prob achieveable but sure restricts how much land if you need septic and water. If you could get away without those and use portable water when you go there and an outhouse your acreage would go way up.

yeah mine is always ready. One time years ago i was walking out and in a little ditch that was in between two fields for drainage where i walk out was a huge 10 point. He was laying in there in the brush and his antlers were sticking up but he thought he was hidden. As i am fumbling for an arrow and he is 15 yards away a doe jumps up in there too and they both stand and run off. I def could have shot if i was ready. And a few other times have gone in and deer are right there. One time walked up on tow bucks fighting . They werent paying any attention to me and i was about 45 yards away. Snuck up to witihin 25 behind a tree and peaked out behind the try and sent one - only to clip a branch. But def want that bow avail for any chance of action to and from.

Awesome and keep the updates coming. This is something that is truly interesting and from a genuine person and you are helping people. And that is something you were interested in doing and took the time to post videos to try and do that on your own. That means you meant it before they offered any fancy dinners to go with it. Like I said genuine. Quite a story here and keep telling it. I need to know the ending now! Lol Good luck.

I tried it too. Can't say any day that it said was "great" was great at all. It's a crap shoot prob anyway but thought it might be interesting. Havent really looked at it in a week. Wasn't something I will rely on for sure. Saw no correlation with their deer cast and the deer i saw.

This year vs last year at this time. 2017 - 14 days hunting saw 50 deer in stand 2018 - 18 days hunting saw 23 deer in stand by this time last year freezer was full and already passed on several bucks. This year havent seen a single buck in stand. But all it takes is a big buck to come by and drop from a crossbow to change the year around. But regular bow this year was my toughest in a very long time.

Yeah I can't not go to the xbow at this point. Same thing here mine shoots half dollar groups out to 50. I can't say I didn't get a deer because of the bow, it was just a weird year. seeing a lot less deer, thus a lot less chances. last year I was passing bucks with the bow. It is weird not getting a deer with the bow. Maybe means big things for us in xbow. Good luck!

Gonna have to sign up for the bummed out list. Just hung up the bow and didn't take a deer with it. First time in a long time. Crossbow comes out now and def not too picky. Cutoff line just became 90 + pounds and over 3 points. If ten days from now and no deer it's all out the window. Yes bow season isn't over and could stick with the bow, but going to the crossbow esp since I haven't gotten one yet. Past years have stuck with the bow or alternated and even let a buddy use the crossbow for the whole season when I already tagged a buck. But this year gotta get serious . Been a tough year. One miss on a doe at 38 y. Drew back a couple other times but never let it fly. Have seen only one buck and that was when I parked to hunt. Haven't seen one in the stand yet. Hoping for better with xbow open and rut on the verge. But def hate hanging up that bow without a filled tag.

Saw 3 new scrapes today in 7F. Agree with Fletch rutting is close. Last year from Nov 3-til gun season opener was busy.
