  3. I bought the stoeger m2000 series I bought back in 2005 from dick's sporting goods was going to be my turkey gun. First shot fired jam .same second and third that was it returned and refunded my money.
  4. I agree they need to spare the bs and get to the point. As a veteran I salute who swore the oath and put them selves on the line in order to spare the lives of others.
  5. Waging war on US soil this is a f ing cover up for sure. This is ridiculous the guy is dead they should be able to tell us the details its been almost 20 hrs. Quit dicking around get quick simple and to the point. Big police investigatation it aint like there trying to find him. All there is to tell is from the hotel room. Angles of impact and rounds spended should be able to tell if this guy acted alone. NO way he was going room to room with that amount of rapid gun fire.
  6. Wouldn't surprise me how many belts he had attached to each other. The average is 3 to 5 round burst this guy fired none stop. If he had an m16 or an ar 15 you outta heard a break in fire for a magazine change. This is blowing my mind. I know these weapons well I was trained army infantry and used them daily except for the ar15
  7. yea sounded like bursts of fire on a military range. They said 5.56mm and 7.62. A squad automatic weapon or a saw as I know it or An m60 or now named the m 240 bravo. How did this guy get that kinda fire power through the hotel I'm thinking disassembled and reassembled but the hotel made checked the room. Those weapons are belt fed too and usually have a bipod too kinda hard to hid.
  8. The bass guitarist for Jason Aldean is from my town. Tully Kennedy. So That must have been a real world experience. Our own American citizen waging war and an act of terrorism in the USA. God bless those involved and the state of Nevada and the USA. It takes and act like this to bring our country together?
  9. I'm just saying what I see I hunt a grape vineyard nuisance tags and that's how I kill deer. I don't condone it but meat is meat however people want to hunt they'll hunt.
  10. Corrected I was just saying the price of a super sportsman nothing about northern and southern zone. Just saying a lot of people spend the money on a license and don't kill deer. That's why they bait. I'm dumb when it comes to punctuating sentences my fault
  11. Have you ever hunted deep dense forest where your chance of seeing a deer are few and far between I think that's why a lot of people do it in the Adirondacks and yes some get caught and hefty fines. But some people hunt hard and never see deer that the difference in hunting northern tier and southern tier. Bigger tracts of woods less deer almost $100 for a license. Southern tier lots of farm land and that comes a lot of deer and dmps none for us up here. Apples work corn works carrots work alphalfa bales work hay molasses pumpkins hell in old forge my old boss had a pic of his kids feeding deer cookies lol
  12. Usually do in bulk but this year I'm going to try to do in casings.
  13. What's the sex of the dog? What species does the dog hunt? Whats the dogs bill of health? Why just that region? I think he'd be a great dog for the Adirondacks. Does it get along with other animals? Last whats its name?
  14. Boat is officially Sold. Now I can put up my new deck and get a hot tub gonna get more use. Moderator how do I close this out?
  15. First I start out with 25 lbs of venison 5 lbs of pork butt or pork fat then I use Leggs pork breakfast sausage seasoning. Grind all the meat and pork butt 1 time put the seasoning on and mix with hands then into the grinder again. Then make a few patties to assure it was seasoned right . Then vacuum seal and into the freezer. Another good brand is mrs wages.
  16. Go to your local orchard animal apples by the truck bed full $65 corn by the 100lb bag $12 round bales of alfalfa $40 Carrots from Canada $25 a tractor bucket. That's alive seen on the roads trucks rounded over with bait. Guess that's how they get that mature Adirondack buck.
  17. Nah just help out a fellow military vet and my wife warned me but I fish small lakes 9hp and that's the largest. My wife and kids didn't like the boat and it is just sitting in the yard as an ornament. Always help people but whenever you need something. 20. For the face I like clean shaved but for the hands I like a little fur LOL.
  21. There an awful creature recking havoc in the Adirondacks. We need a season on them they push the deer out of the area. Theyre aggressive and there causing al kinds of accidents up here. Although the meat I hear is awfully tasty. I'm gonna put in the lottery in maine and try to be selected for a tag then I'm hoping to bag one. Not in it for the horns I'm a meathunter.
