    Good one

TurkeyFeathers - That's awesome! Golf is a very humbling sport. I'm a very competitive person and now wish I played when I was kid, but baseball was top priority in spring and summer. When I play bad, I want to play again. When I play good, I want to play again. Unfortunately, I only play about 15-20 rounds per year and then have a 5-6 month layoff each winter where I don't even pick up a club lol. Each April is like starting from scratch again. By August/September I'm playing my best golf and then the season ends.
  2. He wouldn't necessarily hunt that piece every single day, my point was regarding restrictions if somebody only allows hunters to come certain days, etc. I should have explained better.

Nice. I only shot 39 twice in my life. Both times were front 9s. Once in NY once in Florida. But both times I couldn't stay on that pace and shot 85 and 87. But score is only relative to the slope/course rating of the course and what yardages you play from. The courses around me are pretty tough. I usually play from tees just in front of the tips, which typically means around 6400 yards and a slope of 130-140 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice 9, but why didn't you play 18? What was the slope rating/yardage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It would depend on several variables: Location of property Amount of signs of deer on the property (of course, we would walk the property before making a deal) Will anyone else be hunting the property Any restrictions use of the property (My Dad hunts every single day, dark-dark) Please PM me if you have something in mind. Thanks.
  6. Good points, but again I'm still open to something private lol.
  7. I'm open to counties north of Putnam, as I said "surrounding". I hear what your saying, but I'm not interested in 200 acres anyway. More like 10, would be good enough given the right area. I only hunt the weekends + thanksgiving and black Friday. This year I will have 2 extra weekends (with Xbow).
  8. How can you tell its the same deer?
  9. True but I doubt they even take 10 hunters per year. Thy don't even allow gun hintersSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I agree, it's crazy. But I guess it has the reputation as the best chance for those who want a "Booner".
  11. Not true. Hashknife is fair-chase, no fences and probably somewhere close to $10K, with a waitlist of several years.
  12. Is it true that New Mexico now has a hunting season for free range Oryx?
  13. What's the average shot distance for you in Africa? I'm usually 2-3 inches high at 100, so even higher at 200, and dead on at 300.
  14. Awesome brow tines too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I never been, but I think you can in Rockland somewhere. Forget the name of the lake(s) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Yea, I think she will definitely get the show now. Somebody is paying for all these hunts expensive hunts, I assume her parent(s)? Everything was probably taped, so she has many episodes in line already.
  18. That's an extremely reasonably priced hunt. There are some out there for $5k+ for fair-chase. If your willing to spend big money (probably close to $10K) and willing to wait a few years, this place is known as being one of the best (if not the best) in the business right now > http://www.huntthehashknife.com/
  19. Wyoming preference points are on sale. I am buying deer ($40) & elk ($50). Nice that I don't have to pick a unit now, can just buy points and worry about the unit years down the road. Antelope ($30) isn't a bad price, but hopefully I'll get my 2nd antelope this October and not really interested in a 3rd someday. Hopefully I'll get my 2nd Mule Deer this October as well, but Mulies are awesome and I know I will want another someday. Elk right now doesn't really interest me but someday I'm sure it will, so for $50 why not. I see Moose ($75) and Bighorn Sheep ($100) are also available, but Moose doesn't interest me and it appears the Sheep tag could take so many years to draw, it's not worth spending all that $. Better off putting that $ towards a Canadian sheep hunt with OTC tag if I ever really wanted to do one. UPDATE: Nevermind, can't buy Antelope or Deer since I am hunting them this year. Just buying the Elk point.
