    Cool video! From what I've been told the bucks can very aggressive. The only one I shot was snuck up to around 200 yards and started to get ready to take the shot. The buck was with 8 or 9 does and spotted us. The does stayed put but the buck kept coming closer and closer to us and didn't look happy. I shot him at like 80 yards if I remember correctly and he was still on his way closer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    That's awesome, I started doing some research on your unit and saw similar numbers! I read somewhere that shooting a b&c Mulie is becoming one of the toughest animals in recent years. Has that unit always been good? I assume so since u applied for 11 years. Id like to start applying for a tag that I can use in like 4-5 years but I don't know if the same units will still be good years down the road? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Congrats! I know on the other thread you said it took many points to get this tag, so what are your expectations for a mule deer? Are you going alone or with a buddy? I know that unit is regarded very highly for deer and Elk, you will probably see some giant Elk and hopefully deer too! I drew a deer (region C) and antelope tag (023) in Wyoming, and my Dad drew a deer tag (region C). We are hunting 10/1 - 10/4, the first 4 days of rifle season.

    Joe - If you are serious about hunting in Iowa and money is the only thing holding you back, then please reach out to me. We can work something out. I would gladly pay for your airfare, etc. in return for a chance to hunt private land in Iowa.

    $5k on a rifle hunt should get you get you at least 70% success rates, unless your looking for an absolute giant. Just start googling phrases like "fair chase rifle elk hunt" etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Was out in Boulder, Colorado last week visiting family. Bought a 1 day license and did some fishing from shore at Gross Reservoir. We got 13 rainbows in 4 hours. Nothing huge, but still fun and good eating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    As a kid I would see turtles in streams all the time. I caught and kept a small one that was smaller than the size of my hand. It had a spiked tail so I assume a snapper? Odd thing is that I has for like 5 years and it never grew and then I released it back to the wild. Wonder if it had some sort of health issue because it never grew. It was like a miniature turtle...
