I think we can all agree it is much harder to shoot any coyote over bait than any deer over bait.

I've never been to Alaska, but know people who have and they all say its amazing. Farthest west I have been hunting is British Columbia and that was really cool.

Maybe someone did it in 2011 or 2012 already Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea just never seen one. They hit the bait everyday your not there. Guides even use all special oils and scents to mask themselves when putting out etc. just super wary animals. Probably rather starve to death than come into a suspicious bait. You'll see tons of coyotes before a wolf ever comes in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

+1 I've spent 14 full days dark to dark hunting wolf over bait between Alberta and Ontario and never seen one. My dad was up over 30 full days and more provinces before connecting on 2 in B.C. whitetail deer are easier to hunt over bait than many other animals. I think people give whitetails too much credit. Bought the 200lb Excalibur Vortex in 2011. NYS max was 200lbs in 2011 and 2012 and I figured it would stay the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2014 HuntingNY Whitetail Challenge

I don't shoot does, so probably no point in joining. Even 2 bucks won't be enough to win Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think it's only a matter of time before NY allows it. NJ allows it, parts of CT allow it, PA allows in some capacity I believe during off seasons, etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My thoughts are simple. If it's legal ok. If it's illegal not ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Many restaurants sell steak tartare. Ive had it many times and it's pretty pricey actually. I wouldn't try making it myself though with store bought meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is Cuomo running unopposed?

The only astorino commercials I see are paid for by Andy's team. Something about astorino and racketeering. This race won't even be close. Oh well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Checked my cam for the first time this year. Same spot as always near acorns in Putnam County (3N) on private 8 acres behind some houses. I got 318 pictures since 8/9/14 and most were deer with some red fox and unfortunately 1 ATV. Luckily my cam wasn't stolen. Also unfortunate, is that this cam takes much better night pics than days pics. All the bucks I have pics of during the day in mid morning and mid afternoon but they don't come out as clear as the nighttime pics. I don't want to invest in an expensive cam, worried it might get stolen. Anyway, here's a few of the many pics I got. Looks like a few different bucks, maybe 2 6's? tough to tell. But regardless, happy to see bucks. Anyone good at adjusting the pics so I can get a better look at those 2 bucks together? I have like 10-15 pics of those 2 bucks together, but none are very clear.

I always hunt on the ground. I sit on a hot seat against a tree. I just clear enough leaves where I sit and my feet are. I always look around with my eyes and not my head or body. I'm usually good at not moving for several hours at a time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's a really dark shepherd. My family always had shepherds. Very smart dogs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like how CT does it. You just print your own tags on whatever paper you want Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Dad and I use Kurt Fox, Fox Studios Taxidermy. He's done probably 20-30 pieces for us combined. Quality of pics aren't great, they are from cell phone, and do no justice for what the mounts look like in real life Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks again. I haven't gotten a response yet lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks guys. That's what I figured, but was really hoping someone could find the same pic somewhere so I could send it back to him lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not one to usually post a picture that somebody sent me but am curious on everyone's thoughts on this buck? I don't know the guy real well but he has showed me pics of 150" class deer that he has killed in years past. Anyway, he got this trail cam pic. Is it a legit or a pic that has been floating around the internet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
