  1. I can say good things happened in my life the last year under this administration. One I got another beautiful granddaughter. This year my wife had to have her appendix removed, and that was successful. Family life has been pretty darn good. Also even with inflation and lack of supplies, I made the most money I ever have in a year. So there is that. I understand cost of living went up, but so did my income. The doom and gloom coming from the media is unhealthy. To be honest the media says my life should be upside down with all the caius in the world, but it is going pretty good. Focusing on what is within in my control has been treating me well lately.
  2. Religous exemptions have been the reason for vaccine mandates failure to this point. There are alot of religions out there that do not practice western medicine. It doesn't make them idiots, or wrong, it is their belief. Faith is not a choice. For you to say vaccine mandates do not violate that person's rights is certainly a bigoted statement.
  3. Wrong. It does violate peoples rights. Religion is not a choice if you believe. Statement like that makes you a bigot
  4. I use one on one of my stands. I place a buddy heater under the seat when it is real cold. I have killed 2 out of it.
  5. He is a typical lefty. Preaches unity, and practice division.
  6. No, it is not a vaccine, not until covid was it called a vaccine. It was always a flu shot prior. See the political spin. It's propaganda supported by the Russians and China to create division.
  7. I will type it in big letters for you, so you can comprehend. PREVENT SICKNESS. Hope that helps
  8. I have yet to meet a person who is vaccinated from covid, so as of now, yes I am ok with unvaccinated people treating the sick. There isn't another option. A vaccine works to prevent sickness. That is not a gray area, and does not need to be spun to convince people otherwise. People keep getting told not to believe what their lying eyes tell them. It gets old when what you hear is different than what you see and experience. I believe the idea was to give people a sense of security so that some normalcy could return, be it real or false. Unfortunately there is too much information, on either side for that to occur, which is why we are in the situation we are in. Playing politics, by both parties and creating devision plays right into Russia and China's hand. Propaganda supporting mandates is as beneficial to them as anything else one can find on the internet. Individuals need to make a decision of what is best for themselves, and live the best way they can.
  9. Use my old 870 often since I got it about 12 years ago. Killed alot of deer with it. Was my grandfather, then my father's, and now mine. Prior to that I used my Winchester ranger 120 with open sights. That gun belonged to my other grandfather. Took my first deer with that 20 gauge, and several after.
  10. Thank you for the morning chuckle
  11. I have a 44 inch dr tow behind bought new last spring. It does cut. Long tongue makes turning tight not feasible. Also does not have the remote start or engagement which could be a safety issue. Tensioner spring for belt broke. Customer service sent me 2 of them and had within a week. I bought direct from website and had unloaded by a forklift. If I was looking for something to get around in an orchard maybe a front mount would be better. Or a walk behind.
  12. That's where self discipline comes in. But I like the way you think. I am gonna start blaming my thyroid
  13. Portion control, and self discipline are the solutions. I, myself struggle with both.
  14. I have bought 3 at a time over the last 2 years from lowes. They grow and spread quick. The black berries grew up the crab apple tree that I had left in the center of the patch. Also lowes has a 1 year guarantee on plants. I paid 12 dollars each, and they were 2.5 gallon pots. Same with raspberries but they don't spread nearly as quick. I have 6 black berry bushes, and 7 rasberries. Maybe 3 out of 20 blueberry bushes this spring. Started with 6 strawberry plants, that spread quick, A crab apple tree which is at least 60 years old, a 4 ft apple tree, and 2 6 ft pear trees.
  15. In the southern tier we only have 10 months to get ready. I have tree stands to relocate, 2 food plots to reseed, Contact all the neighbors to reassure access, get firewood done for next year, add some heavier cover for next season. My berry patch that I have been working on for the last 2 years has been spreading nice. I have strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The blueberries I am giving up with, but want to add elderberries, and more blackberries this year. I have planted 2 pear trees, and an apple tree. I want to put a couple more pear trees in this year as well.
  16. You may have options on the 19 that won't be available on 22s do to the chip shortage. Some manufacturers eliminated options that were available on previous models in an attempt to keep up with production.
  17. Something alot of do it yourself guys neglect is to replace the drain plug crush washer. I have had to repair or replace my fair share of oil pans because of that. Especially on subaru, nissans, suzuki, and Hyundai
  18. I think the ability to adjust, and learn as season progresses is one of my greatest assets. I know guys who can do all day sits, not me. I know guys who can track a single deer all day, not me. I know guys who can predict where a deer is going to be by where last seen, not me.I know guys who can still hunt their way to deer and kill them unknowingly everytime, not me. I know guys who can hit 300 yards at a standing target, and I know guys who can jump shoot, and guys who can hit running targets. I know guys who can shoot a bow with pinpoint accuracy, again not me. I am an average shot, persistent pursuing, get bored with long sits, and average woodsmanship at best hunter. My weakest hunting skill is patience. Not sitting long enough, and rushing a shot. My strongest asset would be my ability to learn from others experience, and my mistakes.
  19. I am always willing to learn. Can I get your friends friend number. They seem to have what it takes.
  20. It's ok if you don't have what it takes. There are alot of people on here you could learn from if you would be willing to learn. It's sad when you post others harvests to make up for your short comings. As for myself, I am greatful to have had another safe, successful, enjoyable, memorable season. Really does not get better then that
  21. You have written in the past about pursuing a specific deer, and nothing else will do. Then you shoot one that is good enough, instead of "your" target deer. Then say you are not disappointed in your harvest, and post someone else deer. Seems someone is envious. Sure, your credibility is great. And sure all the other deer you post are your harvest.
  22. You loose credibility when you post a friend of a friends deer. Good luck next year. Maybe you can get a free range one that will not disappoint you.
  23. I use to have a miniature schnauzer poodle mix. She barked all the time too. She never could actually run with the big dogs
