Had a friend that made a chevy s 10 electric at the time it was only one working in electric car club in wny the wholw bed was marine batteries covered with a top to make bed 1 ft deep on top if batteries got 300 miles on charge and would get a 25 mile bump from when it drained and bounced back.. was a fun project he said but took day to charge fully.

Electric have been around for years ( thimas edison made and electric vehicle)they are impractical in the north with cold and reduced battery life.

This would be a fun project .

Bought it for 1000. Put new tires, battery , and 4 wheel drive actuator in it for 1000. Metal patch panels and moulding and vinyl were about 500. And about 120. in paint. Bed liner kit was about 200. So all total 2700 or 2800 total not including my time of course.

Was factory built on window sticker for plow has upgraded frame shocks strutsa amd transmission. And will maybe plow with it a couple of time a season if that. Neighbor plows my drive for me.

I did its all new old was chrome and black. New is all black

Moulding and trim on.. a few touch ups to do but 99.9 % done.

Why just let officals kill them just open a hunting season . People will do it and pay to do so. Buying a licence.

Native bird im sure there were millions before European people.hunt them amd eat. Probably taste like buffleheads or mergansers ..fish eaters.. Perhaps we just need lower limits on fish.

Dropping trees its best to have a high speed chain an electric saw just doesnt have rpm to cut thru when ut starts dropping, other issue ive had is there is no indication that its low on power it just stops..at least gas will sputter a bit letting you know its running out of gas. My electric just dies and always at most in oppertune time as tree is leaning.. creating a possible hinge / barber chair situation.. i stick with my gas saws when felling but electric is nice for limbing and small cleanups .

The tighnee should have some kind of lock. Chainsaws are easy till accident happens... friend was helping me fell trees and he had one bounce up and back hittìng hi s shoulder and knocking him over.. tore tendons in shoulder and knee. Stiĺl doing rehab..lucky didnt strike him in head and kill him.. ot was only a small tree about 4 inches in diameter..... wear protective equipment ! Dropping trees is a skill best left to others if you dont have experiance, dead trees are the most dangerous.. as are leaners. Special cuts and wedges may be needed to drop safely. You tube is informative but every tree is different. And its not alway as easy as it looks as profesionals are showing you on a couple of minute video.

Fact is more people are killed by black bear than grizzlies. Chased down and killed someone in new jersey a few years ago if i remember right.. Spring hunts should be started as populations have increased 10 x since a few years ago.

Thats the problem with antler restrictions in high hunter densities . The herd loses it best young deer and quickly becomes high graded. A 1.5 year old 8 pt is legal but a 6 pt isnt.. so genetics will be selected for 6vor few points pretty quickly..

Partly, bowhunting only areas have very limited public access if any so pressure is significantly reduced . Deer can grow old and never be hunted on large estates there...

Bed liner sprayed in . 72 hour wait now.... moulding and wheel well trim next when they arrive..... Now clean up .... sick of tape sticking to my feet....lol

So done with paint started on graphics. Spray in bedliner arrived so thats up next . Trim and mouldings left to do...

This is relaxing , so is habitat work.. i dont sleep much anyway.. use to only 5 hours from work..
