    Super pumped for ya !!like jay said ,reset !you may be in a otter zone also right ?keep that set as otter will pass through also .Some times it takes a bit long for them so stay patient .

    I started trapping way before I started hunting .I grew up visiting my grandparents on the Seneca reservation.Fur always intrigued me .Many years after I started trapping ,my cousins got me into deer hunting . For a few years I started off gun hunting .Then I realized how much better bow was .Realized what I was missing . I think the part about it being in our DNA holds true .From Oct till almost May I’m either Trapping or Hunting .

    Yes lol .I don’t live in a closet lol .My cousins were dirt poor growing up on the reservation ,also had cousins that grew up dirt poor in the hills of the Southern Tier .Even as poor as they were ,never depended on deer meat .I think the people who depend on it these days ,are very low .Too many programs out there giving free food away constantly.People don’t work for their food like they used to.

    I’m not grouse but ....I use dmp for the meat ,while trying to hold out for a mature buck instead of taking the first immature buck that strolls through ,just for meat .

    I’m happy for anyone who takes what makes them happy ,big or small .I’m willing to bet ,most who hunt ain’t going hungry anytime soon if they don’t harvest a deer .I could be wrong but correct me if i am .If they spend any money like I do for this ,there’s better meat deals for them in the grocery store lol.

    At least he’s honest .We all pay for our tags to do what we choose.I’m sure many here pass up spikes and 4 pointers ,essentially we are all hunting for antlers as well .I’m partially guilty .

    I’d imagine some trails being closed to snowmobiles after farmers got wind of this ,if they actually want the hunt and it gets stopped .

    I’d be surprised the trails are even open yet .Looking like low 40’s going into the middle of the month .

    Brought my son out one time this season in the blind ,that was his last time LOL.

    Checked the apple orchard today .All apples that were on the ground ,are now totally cleaned up .cam has been busy in there the last 3-4 days with multiple bucks and does .I’ll be in there come Friday evening .
