Similar to stuff I picked up in the 80s at the outdoor show in Harrisburgh. Worked great . I had 3 sticks for 5 bucks . Back then I only used it for fishing sunglasses. I never used it on script glasses. Have to wonder where it went . I will have to try it when i find it on an old pair of glasses . Prescription glasses are freaking expensive to replace .

So ruger went to see the vet yesterday. Had a text message from the breeder that 2 pups from his litter had contracted parvo. My SIL is a vet. We watched him close for 4 days. First signs of parvo is diarrhea and lethargy. At 10 days he would have tested positive. The 2 pups that contracted parvo went home 3 days before we picked ruger up . Rather than take a chance I took him in to be tested . He tested negative . Thank god . Parvo is up too 90 percent fatal for a pup. $160 bucks for check up and test .Worth it for peace of mind..SIL doesnt own the practice . He goes back next friday for next shots and follow up . On a high note aunt doc says he is a fat healthy pup. He gained 2lbs since monday .Have to start cutting back his food. I have always carried Ruger down and up the deck steps to go potty. Yesterday morning he walked to the steps and put his front legs up . 3 trips later with a little coaxing he climed up all 9 steps. Good times .

I usually hit the syracuse show , but I didn't get there last spring. I pick up a great deal on primers there. Went to a outdoor show up in rochester quite a few years ago wasn't worth the trip. I have been home sick most of the week so I'm probably staying home. Getting a little stir crazy.

As long as it hasn't gone through a thaw and refrozen for a long period of time it should be as good as the day you froze it . If it has thawed and refrozen you could get some burn which will affect taste. Obviously if it has thawed to above 40 degrees for a period of time you risk bacterial growth . I recall food saver says properly handled and sealed meat up to 3 years.

I really would like to buy a big day pack they have . Keep waiting for the savings to get better than 10%. Also have been looking at a f&s kayak but the price hasn't gone down .

I think they are afraid to empty the store and not have anything to put in it .

Horseheads store has stated moving new product. Talked to a guy and he said they are having logistics problems . As in sale went through faster than expected and buyers didn't plan on the extra stores so they are getting in what the can . There is no warehouse out here so it's all being trucked from Utah I think he said . That said last time I was in , most field and stream stuff is still 10 percent off.

Not that this helps. That was one consideration I was aware of when I bought mine . Had the chance to shoot different manufacturers before I bought . I couldn't get my boots in 2 of 3 to cock them . Had to go in and put on tennis shoes. I bought the wicked ridge with accuedraw.

He is eating 5 times a day. Seems to be hungry like a teenage boy.

Had our first accident last night . Ruger has found his legs . Little guy runs flat out full tilt all the time. He was playing pretty hard when all the sudden he ran to the back door before I could get my shoes on he wet. My fault . He made the effort. He is a pretty smart pup. No accidents in his crate. He has gained 12oz in 4 days

Day 2 in the books great day no accidents . Only cried a little and was asleep in 5 minutes. Ruger woke up at 430 this morning out and back in cried for 5 minutes . Got about 20 minutes sleep and alarm went off. He is alone until misses tracker comes home on her lunch hour. He is going to be a chewer. .

Lol it was an easy night ... certainly didn't feel it at 3:30. Out side in crocks and shorts ....

I shot them back in the 90s. They weren't accurate out of my 760 . Left plastic in my rifling.

Holy smokes... out the back door...unreal!

First day in the books . Eats like a horse... has a nose. Smelled breakfast sitting on the counter top , plops down in front and howls. Lmao. Cried at bedtime for 20 minutes. Woke me up at 3:30. Out peed. 430 howling back out 1 and 2. Slept until 6. Woke me up out again and starving boy wanted breakfast. Just settled in for a nap . Miss Ellie wants to play with him but she doesnt understand he is a baby. Ran him over a couple times .nocked him over while sniffing him over . Nock on wood no accidents in the house for day one. No accidents in the crate either.

Oh and we decided on Ruger.
