Was doing some land/prop/weed control today.Well a couple hour's go by and who show's up the DEC.I nor the land owner was aware of this if you do not own the prop/land then useing pestiside's is not legal.The only one's that can use this stuff are land owner's and licensed contractor's.Got off with a warning and thanked them for the info.

That also apply's to fertilizer's and any spray's for the garden.So my inlaws will have to go and do it them self.Something is wrong cant even help the elderly any more what a bunch of crap.

So they bust you chops but let the 1000's of lawn companies with all their "Legal" workers throw down the crap every day.

Yup they sure did,so if anyone work's for a land scape company and is not licensed than they to could be in trouble.Think you forgot Ill in front of Legal.

Well I can understand the part about not spreading fertilizer or chemicals around or near a water source. The rest I call BS this state is getting worse every day. Focking Libtards are sure in a hurry to shove every damn thing they can down our throats and then scratch there heads why the hell everyone wants to leave. Just keeps getting better and better being a NYer.

Here in the Finger Lakes, we know about phosphorus and fertilizer run-off from homes and farmland watershed properties into the lakes, and what the results are. It is a problem that threatens to turn big portions of the lakes into a salad of aquatic vegetation that even a fish can't get through.

T/C farms has had this posted since January and they sell very little fertilizer that contains any Phosphorous....There are so many non ag ppl planting food plots now...and every body reads...don't put nitrogen on your clovers and legumes but use 0-20-20...I can see where they would start "checking up" on what ppl are doing ...then you have the amount of round up and such being used...as someone said you are suppose to be certified and licensed by the Sate to apply a lot of this stuff ...been so since way before the 70's when I went to school for it

Which part of what I said is NOT true as apposed to incorrect...This is all from your links....390+ pages of registered pesticides in NYS and I stopped count at over 300 of them being RESTRICTED

§325.17 Categories of private pesticide application.

(a) Agricultural plant pest control. This category includes certified private pesticide applicators using or supervising the use of restricted pesticides including chemigation in production of agricultural crops, including but not limited to corn, alfalfa, grains, soybeans and forage; vegetables, small fruits, tree fruits and nuts; grasslands; non-crop agricultural lands; sod farms and nurseries. This category includes, but is not limited to, the following subcategories:

(1) Field and forage;

(2) Fruit;

(3) Vegetable;

(4) Greenhouse and florists;

(5) Nursery, ornamentals and turf.

( B)Agricultural animal pest control. This category includes certified private pesticide applicators using or supervising the use of restricted pesticides on animals, including but not limited to beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, horses, goats, poultry and other livestock, as well as to places on or in which animals are confined.

© Aquatic pest control. This category includes certified private pesticide applicators using or supervising the use of any restricted pesticide purposefully applied to standing or running water to control aquatic vegetation and insects.

Restricted - If there is a "YES" in this column, then the product is a "restricted use" product as defined in Part 326, and is not available for use by the general public. Please call the Pesticide Product Registration Section at 518-402-8768 for further information on restricted use products.

I dont really care if you consider them to be the same thing, but seeing as you want to nit pick, False and Not True arent necessarily the same thing. Something that is incorrect is not true it is usually also false.

I never said that you said all chems were restricted. You mentioned Round Up. Please show me where Round Up is restricted.

All I was saying is that you dont need to be certified to apply any chem, just the restricted ones. Maybe I should have been more clear.
