noob52
Guys like Bill are as much of a problem as a-hole politicians. When Obozo says "I speak to sportsmen every day, and they can't see the need to have..." they are talking about guys like him. I rarely post, but this got my blood up. I just want to know if he was kidding, or serious.

Elmo
I'm pretty sure Aurora shooter didn't need a 1000 rounds to do what he did. Heck, I don't think he even got off 200 rounds total. So what are they going to cap it at? 100 rounds? NYC fire code states that we can't have more than 200 rounds in our homes due to fire hazards. Another reason why NYC sucks a**! Dinsdale
NYC fire code states that we can't have more than 200 rounds in our homes due to fire hazards. Another reason why NYC sucks a**! Just when I think I have heard it all about the rules "down there" ; I see another one. You can put me in the "what a useless law" category. And my ammo dump dwarfs 6000 rounds a few times over. I have been to folks places where they can't shoot because they have no ammo, not even a box of something.........that's not a problem here. Elmo
The fire code isn't a felony but rather a violation and it is established by the fire department. You get a ticket and then you have 30 days to either prove that you've removed the excess rounds or pay the fine. I don't keep over 200 rounds at my place..no really. And if they do give me a ticket, I'll "remove" them within 30 days. Edited August 3, 2012 by Elmo

Culvercreek hunt club
I have only been dragged into that $hit hole 4 times in my life and have no plans of ever going back. this would just be one more reason. ...wow. that is 4 boxes of 22 ammo...not even bricks
Elmo
The good thing is that Bloomberg can not possibly serve another term...unless he uses his money to change the laws once again like a tyrant.
Grouse
Or city idiots wise up and vote for a leader who respects freedom and the US Constitution. Not that it's likely. Just saying.

virgil
Bloomberg is a leader. He doesn't have to play politics like the average politician. That's why special interest groups hate him. He keeps winning elections for a reason.
