Starting to get ripe

When out this morning to see what damage if any from the wind,rain and hail we had late yesterday,found a couple of older dead tree trunks across two of the trails.Also went to do some pruning,Good thing I had the little 6 pack cooler on the atv.Gathered up about 1/2 quart of Black Berries,the bushes are loaded with them.Another week and there should be some good picking.

I was picking a handful here and there last week while out scouting! They sure are tastey!!

Got to love the summer time.I love the fresh/wild berries the best and the make great jam yummy.The grape's at my Aunt's tasteing mighty good.Going to make some wine with them.

Not many berries around here. Most look like dried up raisins from the lack of rain.

Starting to get ripe!! I already have 12 pints of blackberry Jam on the counter from two weeks ago. I love black berry's. I froze some so i can make Blackberry pancakes. yummy.

I have a ton of grapes in my yard and I plan on making grape jam with them. You have to take the pits out but when you eat them off the vine man they are good.

mmmm blackberries, have been picking them here for a couple of weeks. Wife also made some jam.
